Good Morning, Angels:
Renewed-WW Day One - out of the way. All went well...until I finished up my soup for lunch and discovered it had FIVE points! I was shocked. Pacifica Organic Pepper and Tomato - 120 calories a cup (delicious, I might add!). Five points? Oh, crud. Well, as it turns out, I had plenty of points to get me thru bedtime. Turns out the soup has added butter and cane sugar. No wonder I've been loving it! Good learning experience. The nice thing was I was able to rejoin WW and all my old favorites are still on WW (online and app).
Pat, is this orthopedic surgery you are having? (I don't want to get too personal so I am making an assumption). Anxiety is the worst! And I am really good at acquiring it. We're here for you. Last Fall to Jan, when I was going thru all that pelvic cramping, the anxiety was throwing me over the top and into depression. It was a long 4 months of not knowing what was going on. I am glad your journaling is helping you along.

Wonder where Lisa is? I'll bet she's already busy with gardening season. I took on a temporary client for April, working in their office for specific hours and it is really cutting into my garden time. It will be completed next week, thank heavens. I enjoy the work and the people but I prefer the flexibility of working from home and, 99% of the time, setting my own hours.
Today, its rainy and cold, so inside work is A-okay.
Daily Affirmation: I am calm in the face of conflict. I allow annoyances to pass like clouds in the sky. I think, speak, and move with grace. Fitness Goal: stand more today; sit less Health Goal: to develop a healthy relationship with food that will serve for the rest of my life Gratitude: for the WW program : )

affirmation - I attract the perfect amount of business! health goal - work on life balance, clean eats fitness goal - cardio and stretching gratitude - my Redbud. It is soooo gorgeous, I can't stop staring at it, haha!
Pat, I love that you always find a way to get through the bumps in life. Journaling is a great idea! It gave me a great idea for my SIL, who is caring for my niece. She has a lot of anxiety normally, and this situation has to be really rough. She is still staying over nights at the rehab with Kelly. Last night is the first night she was sleeping in her own bed in 2 mo. We went over to help plan out installing a handicap bath and shower for her as well as a ramp into the house. They have such a long road ahead. I can see it wearing on her. I think a nice journal might be a perfect gift.
Suzanne, kudos to you on making a solid move to getting back on track! Yes, that extra work does cut into garden play, doesn't it? Things are coming up full steam, and the phone is ringing off the wall. I am going to have to start telling ppl I am a week out for an appt.

Good afternoon everyone! Suzanne congrats on making it through day 1. I think we all go through that cleaning out the larder phase with each new program! Yes, my surgery is orthopedic - lots of joint damage. I remember all that you went through - it's awful not knowing. Carol - good job on finding those new muscles! I find that gently working the rotator cuffs helps with posture, too. My goodness Lisa your poor niece. It does sound like she has a long road ahead. I know you will find a nice journal. I have treated myself to varieties of fun planner stickers from Etsy vendors and different colored pens, too. I really like these Pilot G2 roller pens: MetallicsAssortedI use different colors of ink and decorate my journal with stars, hearts, yoga themes, workout themes, etc. Affirmation - acknowledge it, let it go. Fitness report - abs yoga and restorative yoga. Health goal - make a heart but healthy dinner tonight. Gratitude - I figured out how to take an electronic image and crop it into a perfect circle shape to use as a logo today - very proud!
