Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Happy Christmas Eve!
Ruth - you must have enjoyed the Wild game last night. 10 in a row!!!! The Sabres can't even manage 3 in a row. I don't know what's wrong with Buffalo's sports teams, but we love them anyway. I hope the Wild keep it up, it's nice to have new records.
Dottie - safe travels
Cathy - I hope you were able to get some much deserved rest.
My haircut turned out really nice. Sides finally long enough to get a bob style and have it look nice.
Nice to still be at home, not at work today. Raining outside, the snow will probably be gone by early week, just in time for new snow to fall. I'm baking chocolate chip cookies later to give to DB and DSIL. Tradition!
Enjoy you day.

Good afternoon all. Enjoy your days off Joy! Your haircut sounds cute!
We are to possibly get freezing rain tomorrow morning. Makes me sad because DD & DS are 30 & 45 min. away (respectively) on good roads, so worried about them making it out here. A good portion of their trips will be on freeway, so with any luck those might be ok. The Dakotas are to get blizzards. Could be worse.
Speaking of worse, watching the Vikings/Packers game! I've become such a hockey fan that I just don't care much about football anymore. We are so excited for the Wild. We watch about 95% of their games on tv. People talk about getting rid of cable, I can't do that until they show the Wild somewhere else.
Have a blessed holiday all. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah to all. Will try to stop in tomorrow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE & HAPPY HANUKKAH!!
I've finally got the gifts all wrapped and John's stocking stuff all in one bag...ready to put it in his huge stocking by morning. Made sure I had his DD's and her DD's family gifts in the correct bags and took them to her house this morning. Sausage is cooked and ready for tomorrow's breakfast casserole. Shrimp has been cooked and is chilling in the frig. Must sort out the contents of the frig so the casserole and a pineapple will fit in there. Wrapping and Craft stuff has been removed from the LR ...just need to do a little picking up/straightening before I run the vacuum. Kitchen is about there...need to sweep and run a mop over it. Several holiday calls have been made. It's all coming together. Just wish John was feeling better.
Bananas are finally ripe & ready so I may make some banana bread this evening. Also, have the stuff to make a pan of brownies...those would go to his son's as part of the desserts for tomorrow evening.
Joyce - enjoy your day at home and baking. May you have a very good time at DB's and DSIL's tomorrow.
Ruth - sure hope that your kids don't encounter any ice in the morning, that would make for a sad Christmas for you if they couldn't make it. Did you see my suggestion on the FB page...Have them come this evening and stay the night. It might be tougher for DD with having the girl's gifts to deal with but....

Last of the kids (DD & girls) just left. DS made it home safely. Roads out here a little slick. Waiting to hear DD made it home safely. Just enjoying the quiet after a good day! We had heavy rain, lots of wind, and lightening & thunder!
Good night all. Off to bed shortly. Weird weather day! Kids here & home safely. Got the dishwasher unloaded from lunch and the Christmas dishes put away. Reloaded with dessert plates & cups. Recycling and garbage hauled out. House pretty much put back in order. More in the morning.
