I was awake at 4 so just went ahead and got up. My coffee pot is programmed to make coffee at 4 so it is always ready but had to wait a bit for it this morning. Bridgette didn’t stir and Bailey did look at me but since I made no move to get the flashlight I use when taking them out in the morning she laid back down and went back to sleep.
I thought it was going to be nice for a few days but they changed the forecast and back to upper 80’s and humid so turned the a/c back on and glad I did as it made it nice for sleeping as I was really sweating until the house cooled down as it was 81 in here when I decided to turn it on.
We had our plumber come out yesterday as the hot water was not coming out as fast as we thought it should and we had a part for the bathroom sink that Fred wanted him to put on for us plus replace the flute (not sure if that’s the right word but the thing in the tank that allows the water to fill up the toilet bowl). So he did all that and then used his compressor to blow out the lines in the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink and tub and it’s amazing how much better the water flow is. Funny how it was the hot water and not the cold that had low pressure but he said that’s pretty normal. Fred talked to him and eventually he said we will have to replace those pipes with either copper or the new plastic ones that will not corrode like the pipes we have now. But it’s not urgent. Our bill was $298 which wasn’t bad for him being here 2 1/2 hours.
Today Fred has a haircut and we need to go to Aldis and our grocery store for a few things. We will have leftovers for dinner as I made an enchilada bake for dinner last night and it made a lot! It was a new recipe and Fred really liked it. I thought it was okay but I’m not a lover of corn tortillas, I prefer the flour. It was easy to make though but next time I will cut the recipe in half.

Can't wait to hear about Lucy's camping trip. !!
Sandy are the Bailey and Bridgette doing, both healthy now??? That was not a bad bill for the plumber, with hot water you get a certain amount of settling from heating the water, even if you have Culligan. I have a well and that is even worse sometimes. Right now my hot water tank is percolating and my DSIL will come and drain it from bottom that works. He laughed when I told him sounds like a old fashioned coffee percolator when heating.
it is another rainy day and that is old news by now. Flood warnings and see the dam is high again. They are holding back all the water. Good for boating if you don't mind the rain. and did see fishing going on.
I got my Cutco knives back and all repaired and sharpened. Yep cut my index finger on left hand and it is slow going typing with a huge bandage on it. Do you know how hard it is to bandage an index finger with only one hand!! with blood gushing. Was quite a pain in more ways than one. Didn't slice it I cut a small chunk out of it. Sharp knives!!!

Connie they both have good and bad days. The other day Bridgette had bloody diarrhea and it concerned me as I’ve been so careful with her food. I just knew it wasn’t Fred but asked him anyway and he said I just gave her a very tiny piece of ribeye and I told him for probably the hundredth time she is to get no people food! After that stopped she has been fine. Then first thing this morning Bailey woke up and threw up right away but since then seems okay. So just taking things as they come.

Sandy: If you replace pipes, do it in copper. Plastic is too temporary -- they can break!....We use plastic for the horses auto water and to water arenas and such but never in the house. My DDIL is the plumber for the ranch stuff -- she is good at it. I have even done some of it myself over the long years we have been here.
I went shopping today. Jim's DSon was supposed to come but he texted me that he had to work instead of having a day off. Glad the shopping is over. I did have to go to Walmart to get our shakes since Smart "n" Final stopped selling the ones with low sugar. So, I guess it it time to nag the manager again. Last, he had taken away SF cookies and now they are back. I guess I'm not the only one to complain. I found a really pretty longer sleeve shirt at Walmart so go it for the Fall. Even Jim liked it. Lavender print of course.
How come you are coming home so soon Lucy?
See you all later for tuck-in.

Hi!
September names suggested : (Vote whenever you like!)
Hopefully Cooler September Cooler Nights September Song -- Jenny Yellow Bus Stops -- Connie Happy New Year – It's September
I slept a good deal yesterday, and then slept all night. But that was my reaction to the other shots, so not unexpected.
Today we got our waffle for breakfast, and then took our walk. Then -- drum roll!-- I got a manicure.
I am very pleased with my hip today. I have been following orders carefully, and it is better and more stable, so maybe I am pleased with myself. LOL Just before lunch, I made breakfast pizza with the original starter, and then fed it and put back in the fridge. In three days I'll feed the flour starter and make two loaves with it. Cross your fingers and hold your tongue right! I do the strangest things for fun!
Hugs! Diane

My daughter took me shopping today and I got all my steps in at the store. I'm good for awhile now. I did some shredding this afternoon after I got the shredder unjammed. Not much else going on. It was too walk for a walk outside.

Hello, friends!
Not a busy day . . . didn't make the phone calls I should have. Guy had breakfast with the McD group, then lunch with the Retired Teachers. Then I left to visit the Habitat Store and Walmart. Both places had significantly bare shelves -- it's always like that when the students return to town.
Fed the bread starter and shared with another person at church. Guy took it to her, and she asked if there were any directions. (I'd emailed them.) He told her just to stir it up, add ice, and drink it down. Ha. Ha. Just for fun, I hope she tells him she did it and it tasted awful! LOL!
So sorry to read that Bobbi is still with the jerk. Worrisome.
Lucy, glad to have you back!
Diane, I vote for the one I suggested. Our new year always started with Guy returning to school two weeks early, then the kids started school; so I vote for Happy New Year -- It's September!
Going to bed . . . and it's only 10:42 p.m. See y'all tomorrow! ~~Mollyann

Molly: Bobbie bought clocks that record movement around them but he was smart enough to unplug them. So, she wasted a lot of money trying to get proof.
I'm really tired tonight in spite of getting pretty good sleep last night.
Tucking you all in now in our NICE AND SOFT LAVENDER BLANKETS.....SWEET DREAMS!
