This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of “a lot” is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. We’re in this for the long haul.
We’d also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it.

Hello Everyone Hope you are all doing well and that we all have a great month. I'm going to challenge myself to post each day and I'm hoping for exercise each day too. My knee had bothered me for the first 3 weeks of August, and I couldn't walk so I really got off track with my exercise. I'm still hoping to meet the goal I set for myself for October 1st, but if I don't at least I want to have a good month. Hope you will check in and let us know how you are doing. Take care!

Doing my Day 2 check-in for the month. I was able to get in some walking today and hope that continues. Hope all of you are doing well

Made it to Day 3 I'm staying on track and I walked today. I need to get back up to where I was in July. Hope anyone checking in is doing well and that you all have a great weekend

Day 4 - checking in I'm staying on track and was able to walk a bit longer this morning, so that was good. I've been planning out my food for the day every morning (I actually think about it the night before) but that's been helping me to stick to my food plan. Hope you are all doing well and having a great weekend!

Checking in for the day. I've been getting in my exercise and eating within my calorie range, so I'm glad about that. I have decided I'm going to weight myself more often this month and maybe work on getting over letting the number on the scale affect me. So far it's going alright Hope everyone is doing well

Thank you Lyn I'm still sticking to my food plan, exercising, and tracking too. Hope I can continue for the rest of the month and see some good results by the beginning of October. Hope everyone is well and that you'll post and let us know how you are doing

Hi sunrose - Hope you are doing well. I did my walking this morning and planned my meals for the day. I was thinking today that it takes me longer to prepare all my food than it does to eat it Hope everyone is well

Checking in for the day. I bought some junk food when I was shopping today, but I'm hoping I can portion it out and not binge on it. I'd sure like to be in control of food like this instead of just being afraid to have it around. Hope all of you are doing well and that you have a good weekend
