Ann Hanging indoors with a good book sounds heavenly.
Audrey Your day also sound quite appealing. Sorry about Rob's longtime pet. It's hard. I would have asked for containers for my food and left. I find I now zero patient for overhearing all kinds of nonsense. Today a 40ish mother of 20ish woman was loudly kibitzing about being there andso on. I asked R if we could move away.
Bee Holding you in gentle thoughts and prayers. My sister just loss another dance community friend o COVID. Becky Waving hi.
LaDonna Yep, that paperwork exploded in you inbox. All you can do is work steady. Hopefully you cannot take any work home!
Mj You had quite the caravan. How nice to have a sunbeam find you.
Cathy I trust Mounah of take care of those critters. Any changes yet w/ the govt..
Susi Hopethe weekend happens!

We had a long day. Glad I threw some frozen chicken breasts in acrock pot, so was able to whip up a fast laaattttte lunch or early dinner.
R's metal rod is in a good position although it,s too soon for any bonding to happen. We have 2-3 soaking and rehab sessions to do daily. So new phase.
Got to do bit of laundry, dishes, andschool prep

June, you are an excellent nurse among other things 😊 Ann et. al. Have a great day. We expect rain on our drive to Newberg OR, which is 4 hours away. We have reservations at the Williamette Valley Winery but will most likely be the only guests. They space out reservations 1,5 hours. Last night we had a surprising dinner at one of the few restaurants open Dive. We had nice salads, grilled halibut and roasted carrots and red potatoes. The entire staff was so friendly. A diner came in who had ridden his Harley from North Carolina. He ordered clam chowder to go to pick up 30 minutes later because he wanted to touch the Pacific Ocean.

I will KOKO Scale at 157.6 this morning Hubby took the rat in the trap outside...told him NOT to show me or tell me how he dispatched it.
Government is working at least...some say the electricity in their area is a bit better.
My sister, in California, is going to see the oncology surgeon today. She has a quickly growing ovarian cyst that is "suspicious" but they can't be sure if it is benign or malignant without surgery and it seems ob-gyn oncology specialists provide better results than ob-gyn physicians not specialized in oncology surgery. I am hoping it is benign, her surgery is done quickly, and she has many years ahead of her. She is four years younger and my BFF.
Have read all the posts but will send this now as I have no idea if/when electricity will disappear again. It sounds like all are doing well and that is good!

June so happy that you are into another phase with R. Praying this one goes as smoothly for both of you.

Cathy keeping your DS in my prayers.
Waving and wishing AWF a peaceful and fun OP day.

Good morning, June - Audrey - Cathy - Ann - Becky - Bee - LaDonna - Susi - and AWL!!!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students during the 2021-2022 year... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
And prayers for R's continued recovery... and for Cathy's DSis' oncoDoc appt (IMO, if cancer is a possibility, an oncoSurgeon is the way to go)...
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
Yesterday's cardioDoc appt was unremarkable - except that Toots' cholesterol numbers went up. They are still "good" but up enough to comment on. What ALL of us forgot was that we'd pulled the Ezetimibe (a cholesterol med) out of his pill regimen specifically to test whether he could drop it. I remembered in the afternoon and left a message asking if we should put it back in; if so, we need a script for it since we have none left. cardioDoc also wants Toots to lose 5-10 pounds. The nightly cupcake plus all the bread-y lunches plus that he's retired from professional trombone playing (and yes, practicing and regular rehearsals are exercise) have contributed to a few more pounds. We also got our flu shots and are good for another year.
We got the Kressling after soccer practice and then the Mouseketeer later in the evening. Football wrapped up our night, but we turned it off after the 3rd quarter and went to bed since it was already 11:30 PM and these were not our local or favorite teams.
Today Pippin has a vet appt at 9:15 AM for shots (and a short list of questions). I called Kessler rehab but had to leave a message that has not yet been returned; I'll try again today. The grocery list is made and we're trying to think of the <oops, we forgot> items from last time.
Pippin's been out, done his morning routine with Toots (making sure that he's awake, too) and is having his breakfast. Sounds like something I should do, too (the have-breakfast part 😉).
Time for coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... and morning prayer...
🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷

Good morning - getting some much needed rain this week. I was OP yesterday but not much movement. I'll try to remedy that portion of the equation today. Work catch up continues.
June, not taking much home other than emails but staying a bit late each evening until caught up. R is so lucky to have such a caring attentive wife.
Audrey, are the places you are traveling to places you have never been? I love a good road trip. How cool for the biker to have come all the way from NC! I'd like to touch the Pacific myself one day.
Cathy, I pray your sister will be well.
Ann, goodness that is a big undertaking...don't over do!
MJ, glad appts went well for all!

June - Sounds like new phase is a good thing and you still managed to get stuff accomplished Audrey - Being the only ones makes for a much more personal experience. Carol and I were fortunate one day to get the owner's son to do the tasting at one of my favorites in Cape May. So far from the normal experience. I spent more than normal that day! Cathy - Sending prayers for your sister. Glad she is seeing an ob/gyn oncologist. I had a great one when I was diagnosed. Ann - Have fun switching out the closets and doing laundry. Glad you slept well. MJ - Can he wait until after loosing a few pounds to get retested before restarting the meds? Good luck with Pippin's shots. LaDonna - Glad you are starting to catch up a bit. Good job being OP. Lily had her monthly follow up. There were two spots of concern but she felt they were not nodules and to just monitor for now. She goes back on November 2nd. Jack goes Thursday for his follow up. He looks completely healed, just needs the hair to grow back. Tonight I'm going with dear friends to dinner and see Pat Benatar. One of the sisters had to back out so I got the spare ticket. I'm looking forward to that.

Sorry for the duplicate post but there is a delay with the Wi-Fi here at the cabin. We are on our way to the Willamette Valley and there is just light rain.I will read the post later and get back if and when I can.

The switching of the closets are done. I have three bags to donate and those are in the truck of the car. I donated some of Carl's that he will NEVER miss The rest of the stuff that needs to be done will be done over the week. I don't push myself to get it all done in one day. Audrey no worries with the duplicate post. Happy the rain is of the light variety. LaDonna happy walking. I did a hood walk but not sure if I'll go for another one. I had to pop an ibuprofen and just waiting for it to kick in. Susi so happy that nothing needs to be done for Lily and that Jack is healing nicely. Enjoy that concert. Waving

Cathy, prayers for your sister. Specialists are the best. Still on the road with lots of rain. Thankfully we had snack bags of Baby Bels, mandarins and granola bars for lunch provided by the owners of the Port Orford cabins. Susi, enjoy dinner and Pat Benatar. Glad Lily appears to be ok and Jack is healing.
