Been up since three when I woke coughing from a clot of sinus drip in my throat. Propped on three pillows, drank hot water, cough drop, and then the sneeze and blow your nose constantly. After Micki's shot and breakfast, back in bed with tea. been a long time since I have had a cold.
My neighbor has had one two weeks or more that her son brought home from college! ShE Got tested for COVID but it isn't. talked to her yesterday on dig walk from about 15 feet! A lot going around right now including flu. We got flu shots three weeks ago.I think my cold comes from going to the store and forgetting to use hand sanitizer when I go out to the car. You would think that would be autopilot by now.

Kathy, the funniest part with my DF and uncles was listening to the mismatch between a question asked and the responses to the question they thought had been asked. We all need to find a way to create a little fun. I'm with you just trying to keep up with what needs to be done, but most of it isn't fun. I agree that there may not be a better way on national collegiate competitions. No matter what they do, someone is going to be left out. Did you ever find out what caused the traffic jam? Did the rain to the west ever get to you? We had about 3/4" more over night, so a little more than an inch yesterday. Fortunately, no associated t-storms so we slept through the night. Going to feel sorry for Vandy this weekend. Good luck to UCF against "Easy U" (NC joke). I hope the FSU/Carolina game will be a good one. At least you should be able to see it since it will be on ESPN. The Red River Showdown (TX and OK) is at Noon tomorrow. Hook'em Horns!! TN plays SC at the same time. Haven't decided if we're going to tune in. Michigan plays at 7:30. Fortunately, none of the games we want to see are on CBS, since we currently do not have a CBS affiliate. Some of the locals are going to be really upset if it's not back by Sunday, however, because that's where the Titans game is being broadcast.
Take care of yourself, Linda. The cold is probably a result of lowered immunity with the stress you have been under of late. That may have kept you from being able to fight off the bug you got exposed to. Interesting group of baby names. With the ethnicity there, I really expected some to be Hispanic. I wish my pomegranates would grow. We got a Russian variety, but they have never been particularly happy here. Nice that you do get at least a little color, even if it's not when the rest of us do. We have the leaf peepers here as well and a lot of festivals and special events to bring them in. Gatlinburg has Oktoberfest, Dollywood has a huge pumpkin festival, lots of pumpkin patches and corn mazes, and there is also a renaissance fair west of Knoxville.
Chele, I was also surprised to see Iggy on the list of names. Lavender sounds like something a hippie would name a child. It sounds like at least one of the cats has a home. I doubt they would eat the bird food. However, as we have found out, skunks, squirrels, and mice do. Hope the vehicle maintenance went well and there were no surprises.
It's going to be a cooking couple of days for me. I already have a butternut squash in the oven for Arya and will be cooking her beef in the Instant Pot. I made rice for Dale earlier. Tomorrow will be the monthly cooking of her pilaf and veggies to freeze for dinners. Then after dinner I need to make an Instant Pot of yogurt so it can cook overnight and be ready in the morning. Right now she is stretched out against me on the couch sound asleep. I really hate that I will have to disturb her to get up. She is so peaceful.
Waving to the rest of the gang.

Karen, thanks for the start. That's good that none of your teams are on CBS this weekend. Hope you get CBS back soon. You should get a rebate for not having a major network! We've had some of those funny conversations too. I can tell when DM doesn't have her hearing aids in. Lol on Easy U! Is that a slam on their football team or academics (or both)? I hope UCF can rebound after the loss and being without their starting QB. I never did find out what the traffic jam was from. No rain yet. Chele, I was surprised to see Iggy on the list of names too. I don't think I've ever known someone named that where it wasn't a nickname.
Liz, hope you have a good Friday and an easy commute home.
Linda, interesting list of names. I would've expected some Hispanic ones too. One of my great-grandmothers was an Arianna, so interesting to see that one on there. Hope you're feeling better soon. Take care and get some rest.
I tried to find a list of Orlando names and came up with this one from 2019. I'm chuckling because Jaxon and Jackson are on there, but the more unusual spelling is higher on the list. I'm surprised to see Andrew on there since it was popular when my DN was born and he is 25 now!
Boys: Mason Andrew Christian Liam Jaxon Jayden Jeremiah Jackson Christopher Diego
Girls: Ava Elizabeth Olivia Maddie Avery Makayla Jemma Kamila Valentina Ryland

.The cold sort of went away! Must be sinus allergy thing. Good because I need to go with DH for minor laser adjustment to cataract lense Monday. If your vision is cloudier than when you got that surgery you might check with eye dr on that. It is common.
new Mri has different results and hopefully no surgery and something one can do at least something about with diet and exercise although it does not go away. Naturally dr is on vacation until Tuesday.

Kathy, I realized this afternoon that it's NBC, not CBS, that is currently not available. I watch shows mostly on the app and can get my local news on Roku. However, I do watch Sunday Today every week, so I'll have to watch that on the app, which thinks we live in Atlanta (long story), so I won't get my local headlines and weather. Interesting that Jaxon and Jackson are both on the list. I've also seen it as Jaxson. I think Andrew is a perennial favorite. I lived next door to one growing up and he would be in his late 50s now. It was also DFIL's middle name and he would be 90. "Easy U" was a slam at admissions and academics. I think they have toughened up a bit since the 80s and 90s. We were expecting more rain later today, but I don't think it's going to materialize.
Congrats on the cold that wasn't, Linda. I'm glad you got ahead of whatever it was. Great news on the MRI. Hopefully you'll get info on the diet and exercise changes on Monday when the doc gets back from vacay.

Linda, no surgery would be great news. I hope you get good news from the doctor. We must have been channeling the same allergy vibes, because I woke up choking at 3 am from sinus drip and it was hours before I could stop coughing and blowing my nose.
Popular baby names in Ohio for 2020 Male name Liam Oliver Noah Elijah William James Henry Owen Benjamin Mason
Female name Olivia Charlotte Amelia Ava Emma (name of grand niece) Sophia Evelyn Harper Isabella Eleanor
Karen, lots of cooking for you. I just have bread making on the agenda for tomorrow. I am not using bread machine for this loaf. It comes out better baked in the oven. Are you meeting up with the family this weekend? Wasn’t Lavender a character in the Harry Potter books?
Kathy, too funny on Jaxon and Jackson. My favorite thing living with a hearing impaired person is making a comment and 2 minutes later having the same comment made like it was an original idea. I just said that! Turn up your hearing aids, man.
Becky, I hope all is going well with the business and you and Kenneth are feeling okay.
Liz, I hope you were able to relax today and not spending it running errands and doing chores.
Sad news for me. I think I have developed a chocolate sensitivity. The last five times I have eaten chocolate I have woken the next day with severe allergy symptoms. I tested it again. All outdoor allergens have been low and I have felt well for a week. Last night I had one piece of chocolate, the allergens are low and I woke up congested, burning eyes, running nose, etc. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The Terrain came through her inspections with flying colors. Yay!
Have a good evening.

Chocolate allergy totally sucks…wonder if the source or process of that particular kind. There are differences.
