Thursday will be a day of hopefully catching up on tasks at work that need doing but have taken a back burner for a while. Uncle Glenn was in good spirits for his 80th bday. We ate in town afterwards and I overdid it. Will definitely hit reset Thursday morning Nothing going on for a long stretch that I know of. Hoping to string together some OP days as well as active movement days.
Sleep well and prayers for all.

LaDonna, thanks for our start. Iβm glad you had a nice visit with your uncle on his birthday. Going off plan happens but the good thing is reset can happen immediately. Iβm resetting too after our trip. This morning I have a routine dentist appointment and Lily Belle and Charley have their monthly grooming at 12:30. Dinner is cilantro lime shrimp with rice and salad. Wishing everyone a good day.

I will KOKO, hydrate, stay positive, etc
My sister goes to Sacramento early tomorrow morning for the covid-19 test before surgery on Friday morning. I am sending her positive thoughts/energy for a safe surgery and benign pathological report on the ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids.
I cut the fabric off the brown traveler pants, steamed a crease then hand stitched in place. They are fine and I can wear them. I didn't want to set up the sewing machine and have to rip machine sewing out and am not sure if/when I will wear these so...did it this way. Will tackle the rust colored ones next then the black and when pants are done will fix elastic in the skirts. One at a time. The thing is...they are cool to wear in winter so won't be wearing them, probably, till spring AND have no place to really wear them...ah well...will be READY to wear if I do have a place to go!
AUDREY: I can't even see the items on Chico's because of where I live. I can see them on Instagram so look at what they post there and dream of shopping in the future.
ANN: Has Benjamin decided you are his people now and he is home? Do you still stay in touch with his previous family?
MJ: Sounds fun with the trips, family, and all the rest! Pippin must be a joy to have in the family!
SUSI: I bet you have a wonderful time with Carol! How long will you travel and how many places are on your itinerary. I hope to see it all on Facebook and/or Instagram! Ah...see some of where you will be going in a later post!
LADONNA: Subway sounds good to me. We have only eaten out one time in two years, I think. We don't trust the refrigeration due to the electricity issues so...kind of keeping life simple. Would LOVE for someone else to cook and do the dishes!
JUNE, BEE & BECKY: Waving from across the water...
Hubby just came through. Seems the demonstration in Beirut was deadly with shooting...six dead and sixty injured so far...this place...

Good morning all. Slept well and grateful. These past few mornings have been very foggy but it burns off. Thanks for the start, LaDonna. Our internet was spotty last night. I wanted to get us started but couldn't. LaDonna you had good cause to overdo on your dear Uncle Glenn's bday. Hope you get some of the chores done that you want to accomplish. I know all too well how that 'back burner' can grow Audrey hope the dental appointment goes well and also the Vet for the fur kids. Supper sounds good and healthy. Cathy keeping your DS in my prayers. I hope the covid test comes back negative and that her surgery is a success. OMG on the shootings!!!! Sounds like you are on a roll with altering your clothes. Great job. Yes Benjamin is settling in just fine. We do keep in touch with Stephanie. I shall continue to PTMH best as I can. The M part of the equation isn't up to par as I am not up to par LOL...but I do what I can. Waving...and shall CBL

Yesterday Toots & I drove a recon mission (with Pippin) to the park where the YM DDR March will be held on Saturday 10/23. We took some pictures to show the adult volunteer to whom the project has been passed what she's working with. Then we made a quick stop at ShopRite for truly "just a couple of things" and were home in time for Toots' friend Eric to stop by at noon. The Kressling came in after soccer practice but needed to eat and go right home to work on a project for his honors class (due today).
The YM meeting was full but good. We have commitments for the overnight encampment that's Nov 6-7. We have plans and contributions of refreshment items for the DDR March. There are a couple of things that I didn't get done, but nothing dire. And I didn't get home super late.
Today I have PT at 10 AM (that I almost forgot - it's "new" on the calendar, and short-term, so it hasn't gotten a lot of memory space). Then I have a short list of gear to gather for our newer YMs. It's going to be a beautiful sunny day, perfect for running errands. Tonight is football.
Coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... breakfast... and morning prayer... π·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ· Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·

LaDonna - Glad you had a good visit with your uncle. Gotta love reset button. I hope you manage to catch up finally. Audrey - Good luck at the dentist. I love the grooming pictures you post. Canthy - Lots of prayers for your sister. Good job on the sewing. Wednesday will be the travel day with multiple stops. Thursday/Friday/Saturday will be spent touring, hiking and biking in Acadia National Park with time set aside for walking around Bar Harbor and possibly a winery and brewery. We haven't decided if we are going to do the entire drive on Sunday or leave on Saturday and stop along the way. Weather will play a role in that. Ann - Hope you get your energy back. Just do what you can. MJ - Enjoy the beautiful and your PT. Glad you got most YM stuff done. We're working on a list of food that we are bringing. It's mostly non perishables and we will pick up fresh food when we get there. We're trying to maintain a balance of eating out with eating in and keeping splurges reasonable.

Cathy, sending prayers for your sister. Sounds like youβre doing a good job with the alterations and Iβm glad you do not live in Beirut.
This morning I experienced my first panic attack in two years. I breathed my way through it but am still uneasy. I will do more personals when I can type from the computer. I will be leaving for the dentist soon.

Lunch is a salad with lots of veggies and ranch on the side. I'm adding a packet of the hickory smoked starkist tuna on top as it adds protein and I actually like this flavor of the tuna packets. I will have grilled steak at home tonight and sides TBD. Happy day to all Audrey, I'm so sorry you had the attack - Do you know what brought it on? That is not a good feeling at all HUGS Cathy, I pray all will be well with DS - I probably would not eat out either where you are with all the electricity issues. Wise decision.. Ann, I've been doing horrible with the M part myself. Will definitely make an effort now that the weather is starting to cool a bit to do better. I'm sure B feels comfy with you and Carl. Yall are both just so nice! MJ, weather sounds wonderful and you have been productive. win win Susi, your trip sounds just marvelous! Do you plan to do a whale watch tour? I'd love to do one of those if I make it up that way and the National park as well. Bee, I love a good storm too long as everyone is safe. Take care Waving to June - hope all is well and Becky - know you are busy

Been a rough two days. Londday at hamdclinic w/ follow up for wound site and therapy. W/ luck Dr. Was able to squeeze out old blood under incision & now sweeping can ease. If the wound does not seal R wil beback in surgery. We are feeling hopeful. Latest scan of my niece's DH showed 2 new nodules on his lungs. He will take a cancer drug approved last year. Will continue to pray and hope for the best.
Took R for adrive to local farm.matket thisafternoon. It was insanely busy! Bought some Cinnamon Crisp apples since no Empires were available. Nice, crunchy fresh, slightly tart apples. Was a nice break from chores, wound care, PT, work, and concerns.
