The Mind🌷Body🌷Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Love all of your todays, Suzanne!
Love spirea! Many people tell me they don't like that shrub, I don't get it! I have your allergies also. I've had this annoying cough for weeks, I know it's the nasal drip down my throat that is causing it. I'm trying Zycam today!
Working in yards all day long today. We have rain slated for the next week long. Perfect day to preen and divide perennials!
affirmation - My life is in perfect balance! health goal - hydrate, and quit the carb cycle! fitness goal - work gratitude - feeling a good busy.
I'm still enjoying my glorious redbud tree and Korean Spice Viburnums! Yowza!

Good morning friends! Lisa and Suzanne - I think spirea is very pretty and it goes well with succulents, which are my favorite perennials. Carol - your post about your workout yesterday very much inspired me to do better today. Around here, I am loving the brilliant yellow varieties of blooming forsythia. Some people just have a few random sticks, others have lush shrub arrangements, there are even a few business with landscaping that features entire hillsides of forsythia which will fade back to landscape cover in summer. But my favorites are the accompanying daffodilis. Such a happy flower! I love the two tone varieties and the double daffodils with big fluffy cups, and how they grow in little fountain shaped clusters. Some yards on my drive to work are positively filled with daffodil cheer. Well yesterday was a bust. I drove home tired again, it is dreary and raining. What I "should" have done was take a quick power nap then do my workout. Instead, I poured myself in the door and finished a bag of dark chocolate covered cashews. This morning I wrote about it in my journal. I sent a note from my body to me with a better game plan, and then I wrote back to my body and promised to not go near that aisle in the store, and that in the future, when I come home tired it will be a power nap instead of snacking which will make dear body feel bad. Daily Affirmation - I know all the better choices and am confident in making them. Fitness Report - well we can count my nap as a one hour savasana and meditation, no? Health Goal - a day filled with better choices. Gratitude - my pal, my journal.

Good morning, Dear Ones!
Daily Affirmation - This day is unfolding to the good of all concerned
Fitness Goal - Feed my Fitbit. I'm on a virtual tour of a 15,000 step trail in Yosemite. I may not finish in one day, but I'll try to get to the next scenic overlook:)
Health Goal - moderation
Gratitude - for the beauty of fleeting spring colors...every day is a new mix of greens, yellows, pinks
I guess I need to have a sense of humor today. First I drove to church at 8:15 and found an empty parking lot.... went online and saw that there is no Mass today as all the priests are attending a convocation offsite. Oops. Then I went to my favorite grocery for a few things, and left my FULL coffee mug in the cart return outside in the rain when I left....(it was still there when I returned...I have faith that my coffee is still drinkable, LOL). Now I'm trying to hook up with a friend to go to a movie and a "free" birthday month breakfast....but we've been playing phone tag. So, I'm just going to relax, be flexible, and enjoy the comedy.
Pat - you just saved me from a food mistake! Believe it or not, I hadn't yet read your post, but independently bought a little bag of dark chocolate covered cashews at the bulk foods area in the grocery this a.m.... to comfort myself....but I tossed it on the table to come here and check in on our thread and here you are, reminding me to treat my body better! So I have NOT eaten those sweets.
I love those daffodils! They are everywhere, definitely the dominant bloom around these parts.
Be well! Carol
