Good morning Bl,
Nancy, try a fancy water like perrier or Gerolsteiner. It helps a lot. Enjoy food shopping.
Kelly yes kicking the sugar is not easy. I am measuring and weighing and looking for hidden sugars in carbs. Kelly sometimes the scale just needs to get on board with our efforts.
Waving to Mimi, Brenda and Connie.
Have a great OP day..

Good Morning!! TGIF!! Busy weekend ahead but at least I have off til 11/2. Added 2 miles yesterday.
We did get sad news that my sister's nursing home remains closed. Do to staff and now residents having COVID. She being one of them. MY BIL was told she does not have any symptoms but then told she was prescribed antibiotics and prednisone so not sure if she really has no sx. They were also going to give her the monoclonal antibody infusion which would be good as she is high risk with diabetes and heart disease. She was vaccinated.
Mimi: Congrats on the scale going the right direction. Claudette: Great job with the weighing and measuring and looking for the hidden sugars. Remember the carbs white breads, white pasta, white potatoes and can be a culprit, Whole wheat and whole grains are best. Nancy: Good job on walking, water intake, and being mindful. Being mindful will be focus as I am off. Waving to all. Skinny vibes!!

Hi BL,
Mimi good to see you. those .2 are the best ever. Especially in the right direction.
Nancy, I had to find a diabetic menu. It is often hard to figure out where exactly are the added sugars. I am getting a handle of it. I guess I have to eat like DH he has been diabetic for years, he is so anal about it.
Kelly enjoy the busy weekend. So sorry about your Sister. I know the most important thing for patients is family visits. Praying for healing for her. We often don't think of how Carbs turn into sugar. Also, I realized that I am a terrible snacker. So much to work on..
Brenda, how are you.
Waves to everyone have a great weekend.
