I did go out and the bird seed was hard as a rock from all the rain. I took it down cleaned it all out and then still didn't like the look of it so put it in dumpster for this week. the finch food was not touched so dumped it along the ditch and guess I will not try to feed the birds this winter. They miss the tree as much as I do. Called my lawn guy for mowing this week. Probably be the last times except for the picking up of leaves, it gets mowed then as well. Just with the small tractor. no the big mower. I also took down the Boo sign on front porch and the trick or treat welcome sign as well. the air was nippy but honestly felt good. 38° Took the car out for a short ride to see if the Tire pressure light came on and it was fine. Mechanic did great job. Air was leaking around the stem and also around the wheel area.
Got call from my financial advisor, He had some good ideas for me and we had good chat. Will decide on some other things after the first of the year, He is the first one that has kept in touch without me calling him and when I do he calls me back right away. He says I remind him of his favorite aunt.
I had a Schwan's microwave single person dinner for lunch. Maybe just tomato soup for dinner, with lots of black pepper.

Hello, friends!
Lucy, so sorry you have to be so careful not to get dizzy. When is that appointment with the doctor?
Sandy, thanks for checking in! Bailey must be being a good girl today -- and Bridgette is always a good girl!
Connie, thank you so much for getting us started each day. Did you have the tree cut because of the leaves in your eave-troughs, or was it dying? So sorry you and the birds are missing it so much. Glad the air is staying in your car's tires! BTW, had the tech use the same gel polish as last time--kind of a peachy/rusty color. It may be a little more "spring" than "fall," but I like it.
Marlene, I'm afraid your statement, "the worst is yet to come," is absolutely correct. January and February are the worst months here. If I could go south for those months, I sure would. Maybe another year.
Nancy, you are always getting things done. You are a good example for me! Thanks!
Diane, the pollen should be finished before too long. Hope you don't have to face it blowing around when you actually do get outside once more. Did you make the cornbread today? From scratch or a mix?
Kathie, the November blankets are beautiful! Sure hope the eye appointments went well today. Yes, we are a family of friends.
Phyl, I'm looking at some quilt patterns that would make pretty hot pads. Not really thinking to make them seasonal, but something that can be used anytime. Would your quilting group consider a winter hiatus? It would be sad to not have your sew days with your friends.
We didn't do too much today. I made a long list of items we would need to keep the critters out of the farmhouse. Guy found and purchased a live trap for catching the critter if it's still in the house after we cover the places it gets in. It's probably a raccoon -- at least it's as large as a medium-sized dog or fully grown cat according to the "leavings."
I also deposited a couple of checks, had my nails done, and picked up my prescription. Tomorrow I will be home all day -- doing laundry and maybe baking. Yum!
Take care! See you tomorrow! ~~Mollyann

Our eye appts. went OK....I do have one of the things that swims around the eye....can't remember what he called it....but it's a piece of the black stuff that is behind our eyes and I have beginning cataracts but not operable yet. Jim's vision was OK except for his stroke damage and we both ordered glasses that are supposed to be here in 2 weeks. He did say that for my age my vision is great. Suggested I wear sunglasses when out in the sun. Said that helps the cataracts from getting worse.
We spent a long time away from home and now since Shana was left in our front yard, she is soooo tired and sleeping with Jim. He tried to stay up with me tonight but gave up a little before 10PM.
Tucking you all in now in our new blankets......It is a picture of a large family sitting around a table eating Thanksgiving dinner.....All of our faces are part of the family (OUR WW FAMILY)......sweet dreams ya all!
Happy Memories Kathie
