NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

Healthy Holiday—All about You
No matter how—or why—you may celebrate, it’s Christmas Day.As you enjoy family and friends, make healthful choices together that match your individual lifestyles.
For the best gift of the season—good health. • Be realistic. Stick with your small steps to eat smart and move more.Enjoy vegetables served at dinner.Serve yourself a reasonable portion of turkey or meat (or dessert).Go light with gravy. • Be adventurous. Try new foods today if your host prepared or a guest brought something you’ve never tasted. You’ll expand your tastes to enjoy more food variety. • Be flexible. No need to worry if you indulged your taste buds today.Make it up in the next few days with light meals and mall walking as you hit the post holiday sales. • Be sensible. Enjoy the holiday spread, just push away from the table when you’re done. Skip everyday dips and chips so you have room for that special, perhaps traditional, once-a-year dessert. • Be active. After dinner enjoy a family Christmas Day walk. Play Ping-Pong.Dance together.
Merry Christmas ~ I hope everyone has a happy day filled with laughter, family and friends ~

Merry Christmas Cathy. DIL is making cinnamon buns from scratch today so there will be some holiday treat. Worse case maybe a day or two with some special treats. Had a slice of stollen last night. Good to see our son and DIL from Seattle. The whole family will do brunch with daughter, SIL, and grandson plus presents. Other than the cinnamon rolls from scratch its mostly plain scrambled eggs, grapefruit etc partly because of daughters recent chemo etc. Been awhile since we have seen our son so we are enjoying it all. Up early today so the dough can can rise to make the rolls.
Will get in a walk but doggone it the sun comes up so late and doesn't get earlier until about the 6th of January (sunset gets later already but earlier sunrises lag behind...complicated but true).
