Lucy, thank you for starting the thread on Sunday.
I think I am ready for the birthday celebration no matter what is planned. Have to get my tote out for my change of clothes and have my meds together. Anxious to see them all, seems like long time since I have seen them. Last time they were home we went shopping for Halloween costume for Elias. He changes so much from time to time that it always seems like longer than it is. Was going to ask my DGS in law about a new phone but think I will wait until the first of the year. Too much other stuff going on with new washer , Thanksgiving and Christmas. It seems to be doing the alerts for phone or messaging so guess I can limp along a little while yet. I shut both Ipad and Iphone down and seems like it rebooted.
So Happy Saturday everyone and be back later on.

Hi!
This morning, it is 46º, and should reach 60+º later in the day. Very mild weather, but seasonable. It will be a bit cooler tomorrow. It was really cold yesterday. When we went to breakfast, I bundled up!
We picked up our last grocery order before Thanksgiving after breakfast this morning. Anyone else who makes a request will have to make it themselves! No big plans for the day today, so that is nice.
I'll work on the jigsaw puzzle a bit later. DH will have football games on in the living room so today I will have the office to myself for a while. Tomorrow, he gets the office while I watch recorded shows.
I think I sleep in the evenings, because my mind relaxes while I watch tv. I cannot crochet until my chapped finger heals. Last night I played solitaire on my kindle and I stayed awake!
Hugs! Diane

Sorry I missed yesterday.....Maria was here in the morning and now I have a sparkling house -- at least all but the spare room which is still a freaking mess. I've been trying to figure out what to do with the VCR tapes. Must have about 200 of them. I will try to find the important ones...like weddings and then maybe just toss the rest. The gal who works on the ranch is going to walk Shana this morning since Bobbie is at her boyfriend's trailer until Monday. Connie have a nice time with your kids!
See you all later for tuck in.

Good morning!
Diane, your family is celebrating tomorrow? The food sounds delicious!
Connie, hug the little one for me! There may be some good deals on cell phones on Black Friday sales.
Lucy, thank you for filling in for Connie tonight. Hope you can warm up today! Nice to have a Sonny To Do day!
Kathie, it's great that someone else is walking Shana for you today! I know you hurt after walking her. Hope you have a nice day with no anger issues with Jim.
I had a grocery pick-up yesterday morning, then Guy and I went to Habitat to check out things. (Lucy, there was a cup with the inscription "But First Coffee.") He bought some frame stock, but that was all. We had pizza at Sam's Club where I bought a pecan pie. Turns out it is one of the best I've ever tasted. It's very large, too.
There are a few errands I need to run. Hope to BBL! ~~Mollyann

DELONA asked why did you do that ? I could not go,why didn't you tell them? never thought of it.PHYL

Just stopping by to say I have my computer back. So far I really like it even though it has a few minor things I will need to learn. Don is a good teacher! He is fairly computer savvy whereas I'm not at all.
See ya tomorrow. I'm too tired to write anymore tonight. Sciatic nerve still feels good:)

Back again!
Guy and I ran our three errands this morning without incident -- well that isn't quite true. The little USPS branch office we are used to using was closed! There was a sign still on the side of the building, and we could tell there was someone there, but no public access. So we had to brave the football tailgaters to go to the downtown USPS. We dropped off my shirt-jackets to be starched and picked up my prescription, too.
I cooked hamburgers for lunch along with Fritos scoops and more pecan pie. Guy agrees that it's one of the best ever.
This afternoon I watched decluttering videos -- all are by and for the younger women. Still, I find nuggets to grab every once-in-awhile. Phyl, I ordered a Purple Thang on Amazon when I sent my order for socks today. Thought you would like to know.
See you tomorrow! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Molly: I can't remember what the purple thang does.......I guess you can get them on Amazon and wondering if it is something I would use.
Jim has slept ALL day. He was up about 6PM for dinner?......and I made him breakfast and gave him his protein shake. He went back to bed right after eating so I guess when I go to bed at 11 and wake him to take his pills, he will be hungry so I will make him a Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich and a protein shake with it. I use Muscle Milk Light for him. Just 100 calories and no sugar and pure protein which is great for the diabetes. Bobbie told me these days of sleep are progression of the dementia. He asks me if he had a stroke when he wakes up. I know he didn't....He sleeps so soundly with his snoring.
Shana was bored today so started chewing on our blanket again and had the stuffing all out across the bed. She did get walked twice but I should have put her in my DSon's yard with his baby dog --- the Doberman Pincher. They have a great time together. I will do so tomorrow, especially if Jim sleeps again all day. I will change my avatar to show you have Shana sleeps with Jim....so cute...
Tucking you all in now in our blankets which is a picture of a large family sitting around a table eating Thanksgiving dinner.....All of our faces are part of the family (OUR WW FAMILY)......sweet dreams ya all!

Kathie, if you're still online . . .
as Phyl told me, the Little Purple Thang (it now comes in many colors) is an all-purpose tool. It has an "eye" in which one can thread a cord and pull the cord through a draw-string pocket. (I use a safety pin.) That end has a point, so can be used to guide fabric under a needle while protecting one's fingers. The other end is flat; looks as if it's an error in the mold. (Similar to the molded flat flap on some antihestimine bottles that prevent the liquid from flowing.) That end can be used to flatten a seam, or just hold a seam open, closed, or whatever one needs.
I saw Eleanor Burns (Champion of "Quilt In A Day") use one in one of her block party videos on YouTube. I'm seeing them everywhere I go now that I have been made aware of them. Guess I thought they were colored crochet hooks hanging on the racks at Joann's.
Where is Sandy? I'm missing her, Fred, and the pups! My cousin's Aussie puppies (7) have their eyes open now. She put an announcement on FB that they would be ready around Christmas. Cuties for sure!
Lucy, I see you got us started for tomorrow! Thanks for having Connie's back!
~~Molly
