So when Debbie stopped by she said she is doing Christmas and wants us to come, unless the weather is bad. I again asked if I could bring something and at first she said no we’ll have more than enough food. But then she said well if you really want to bring something how about your 7 layer salad? I guess Maija thought I was bringing it on Thanksgiving and was very disappointed when I didn’t. So of course I will bring that. She didn’t used to eat it because of bacos on top but when I told her bacos is not bacon but a soy product she started eating it and loves it!
I finally found a Walgreens that I could get an appointment for the Moderna booster earlier than January - it’s next Thursday. Apparently not all Walgreens have the Moderna booster but do have the Pfizer so I will go to the different one and Fred will get his at the Walgreens on the corner of our street.

Hi, everyone. This has been another busy day and it is not over yet. Wonderful chair yoga this AM then a potato latkes (pancakes..traditional Chanukah fare) event with the temple sisterhood. I have joined this group. I really like the women. One of them is going to tell me about something she volunteers for that helps immigrants, teaching English as a second language. I know I would enjoy doing that but don't know if the times they do it fits into my schedule. Then food shopping and tonight we are going to Trivia Night. One of the women at our table didn't know know if she would go because a guy she met online was supposed to visit for the first time. He called just before and said he could not make it. I don't know how I would feel about having someone stay with me whom I had not met face to face. Bottom line, she's going with us. It is gorgeous out. Woke up and it was in the mid 40s. I wore a coat to get to yoga. But it is now 73 and not a cloud in the sky. I hope you get that mouse thing straightened out, Sandy. Glad your team won. AOTD: I love your question, Ruth. My first answer was going to be THE LOVE BOAT because I love to travel. But yours is way better. I want to be on Rick Steve's series for a month so I can visit a few places. I'd much rather hang out with Rick Steves than the characters on LOVE BOAT I'd love to see more of Europe too, but would just love going to Australia and New Zealand. Ruth, let us know what you bought for the gift exchange and what you got. Those things are always fun. No one can beat the purse made out of a bra that Jane received at one she went to! Glad you had fun today. Shragae, we are going to have to start calling you "Wonder Woman." You are sounding like yourself again, Geri. Enjoy. Marlo, yoga does wonders for us. My issue is balance. My instructor gave us something to do at home that I will try. I am getting better. OMG, we are dreaming about each other now, Sharon! Me about you, you about Jane. So funny. Karen E, I must have missed something. Why do you regret having had cataract surgery? That photo of the sunset is beautiful. Vicki, I like your idea about Mayberry. My first thought was that I would like to live in the town in DEATH OF A MOCKINGBIRD, but without the racism. Same reason. But that is not TV. I hope Jerry can get some help. 90 second planks, Karen. Woohoo! They started a 12-day challenge for the month in our fitness centers. One of them is a 60 second plank. I haven't done one in years. I need to start working on it tomorrow. I have done sitting squats, biceps curls, and aerobics so far--for each you have to do a certain number or do it for a certain period of time. Time to get stuff together for Trivia Night. I am bringing a cut-up fruit salad for our table to share.

My goodness everyone is busy and full of news.
I am watching Annie so during commercials will do this. I first saw Annie in New York and I am always amazed by the girls . This bunch is fantastic.
My new microwave is in and new filter in fridge and screen door lock on lanai repaired and a panel, that needed some work done. Turns out this repair guy lives 3 houses away. 3 hours to do that. They moved here in February and are year round. I am so happy to have someone near for these little jobs.
Went to line dance so have almost 7000 steps. She did a cha cha which was too hard for most of them. Of course I knew it and only about half of my class could do it I gave her a suggestion for another one so perhaps she will try it.

You got a ton done today, Jane! Glad you are dancing again.
We did not come in last place at Trivia tonight! Third place had 66 points and we had 60. Lots of fun. I asked a guy who sat at our table for breakfast at one of the organizations I belong to if he wanted to go since one of our group is on a cruise. He was a GREATt addition. He wants to go again. Great to have someone else to join us if someone can't go.
