The Mind🌷Body🌷Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good Morning, Dear Ones:
After an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday, Mother Nature has chosen to blanket us with puffy, grey clouds this morning. She knows best! I had a wonderful visit to the nursery yesterday. Came away with a couple dozen annual plants and a few perennials. All the flowers looked so beautiful. It truly is therapy to me.
Pat: You are a poised and confident Elk. I loved reading about how you chose to handle your nerves and anxiety. A good reminder for all of us. And I like how you used your oracle cards; I don't have those. Do you just draw a card from the deck and interpret it? I've been reminding myself to breathe deeply when anxiety or excitement hits.
Carol: We all are masterpieces in the making, I think. I'm repeating that affirmation today, again. It truly is a good affirmation for me right now. I laughed when I read your Health Goal of "less coffee". I seem to have a thing for coffee of late. More than usual. (Caf or decaf, I don't care). I do drink it black so no calories or points.
Lisa, you must be knee-deep in topsoil and exhausted. Or elbow-deep in creating horticultural designs. I'm sending you some physical energy and my own inspired-thoughts to get you thru your busy season. 🌿
Daily Affirmation: I am a masterpiece in the making. Fitness report: Lots of walking yesterday and functional movement around the house and garden. Fitness Goal: Move more. Sit less. Health Goal: Veggies. Water. Repeat often. Gratitude: For my health and the ability and freedom to move my body as I need to. I can balance. I can walk. I can dance! I am so lucky!
Hope to hear from everyone today. Suzanne

Hello, Hello!
You girls are such good writers! I wish I had that gift.
Thanks for keeping us afloat! Yes, I am insanely busy. Trying some new things to slow down the pace. I'm learning I have to book a max of 6 hrs a day, which includes email and phone correspondence. It seems there are always so many other little things that I must do to keep things running smoothly. Lots of fires to put out, things to research, and lots of questions to answer all day long!
affirmation - I am learning all day long! health goal - hydrate and eat light fitness goal - rest. I need sleep more than exercise at this point gratitude - new clients coming out my ears!

Greetings and thank you for starting us up, Suzanne. I like your fitness goal to move more and sit less. I've been very guilty of over-sitting and it's not good for you! Here is a tutorial on how to use the oracle cards. She is also using the same deck that I have. I find one deck to be sufficient and love mine. They don't predict the future or tell you any deep and meaningful information; pretty much they give you a thought and some advice for the day. I have found them to be positively uncanny when I'm stressing out over something. Each card has a little blurb on it, and the deck comes with a little booklet with more detail for each card. Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAqDSlOMcSMLisa your business is booming! I am so proud of you! Well, the tour did not go well yesterday. The lead person in the group was hyper critical of us and we all felt beaten down when they left. I had two cocktails last night and a not very healthy dinner with too much pasta, and it showed at WW this morning. So my positive goals for the week are to track from Monday to Friday and strive for more movement. Affirmation - this Elk won't stay down for long, my antlers are reaching toward the sky. Fitness Report - Margaret Richard for biceps, triceps, hamstrings and obliques. Health goal - climb out of this funk and work it out at the gym. Gratitude - our first absolutely glorious day - right up there as one of The Ten Best.

Good Afternoon, Dear Ones!
I had a good WI today, first good one in several weeks. For once, I hadn't peeked at the scale at home before going to my meeting, so it was a pleasant surprise. Yet I'm feeling subdued today. I just need to let it be, have confidence that it will pass.
I had a good, active day yesterday. I went to the Y, had a nice protein-filled breakfast, walked in Highland Pk w/a friend for about an hour, went for a bike ride w/my sweetie on a nice, quiet rail-trail. And drank lots of water. I'm thinking of the acronym to keep in mind when considering whether to eat something (or pursue some other comfort!): HALT - hungry, angry, lonely, tired. Maybe I'm just tired. Maybe it's just the gloomy clouds, LOL!
Daily Affirmation - I release fear and embrace joy Fitness report - 10 mile bike ride yesterday Health Goal - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate Gratitude - for a relaxing day with no obligations
bbl, maybe after a walk Carol

Carol, I love that neighborhood! I can't remember where you said you lived, I thought it was south of me? One of the things my design friends and I love to do is walk the hood and critique landscapes. We learn a lot by studying what is working and what is not. Good job on the scale victory! Pat, my sister loves her animal oracle cards. She uses them all the time. I find I have the same luck with my little stash of inspirational books. I open to a page and it speaks to me what I need to hear. Really cool! And how about your work situation, do they really think that is helpful? ? It's a really cold, damp, rainy day. I'm dressed in winter clothes, and just lit a fire!!!! I'm going to rest on the sofa all night and listen to the rain hit the skylights. I am poooooped! Have a great night!
