I watched an episode of Wednesday (netflix) while Ron was playing a video game. Started the 2nd one and he watched it with me then said I should have watched it while he was at work because now he's hooked lol. The actors nailed the characters, except Gomez. The actor is good, but visually, you think John Astin or Raul Julia.

We watched a great family friendly documentary this week. It's titled "Good Night Oppy"; it's about the Mars Rover, Opportunity. The movie will make you think of the Disney movie, Wall-E. We all enjoyed it. It's on Amazon Prime.

A new series is starting today on Amazon Prime. "Three Pines" is a mystery set in Canada; the story is based on a book by Louise Penny. You may recognize the leading star, Alfred Molina who was in the first Indiana Jones movie with Harrison Ford. (he was in the opening sequence when Indy gets the caught in the cave with a large boulder chasing him.)

DotRen, We watched the whole season of Wednesday and really enjoyed it. Fun and clever! I agree with you on the choice for Gomez. There is a cartoon version of the character out there that I think they may have been going for.

cartoon version of the character out there All the characters were created by the cartoonist Charles Addams. The TV series came later. I agree, I prefer John Astin as Gomez.

MarieL, I loved "The Split"! Anything with Nicola Walker is good.

If you like sci-fi and shows like the Mandalorian, Halo (paramount +) is pretty good. It's based on a video game so I didn't have a lot of faith that it would be good lol -but it's well acted and generally enjoyable. Lots of violence though.

Just started watching Three Pines on Amazon Prime. I usually don't watch shows on my computer, but for this I made an exception. Loved it. So great seeing the characters from the books I love come to life. Alfred Molina is a perfect Gamache.

We watched Bullet Train. Ok, here's the deal lol: if you like Deadpool and movies with lots of language, violence, nonsense and humor, you'll probably like this one. There is a lot of "stupid" humor.

My DH asked if I wanted to watch Three Pines. I don't think I do. I love the books, but I hate when I have to "replace" the characters in my head with actors. They are all so real for me.

My DH asked if I wanted to watch Three Pines. I don't think I do. I love the books, but I hate when I have to "replace" the characters in my head with actors. They are all so real for me. Me too. The actors never look like the characters I have in my mind. If I break down & watch one, my DH has to listen to me tell him how they're not right, etc. lol
