The Mind🌷Body🌷Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:
Daily Affirmation Fitness Goal or report Health Goal Gratitude

Happy Monday!
affirmation - I am in control! health goal - no whites fitness goal - core and stretching for sure. Walk if it dries up a bit. Weed. gratitude - my Amarylis is blooming a six flower for the 3rd bloom this season. It's spectacular!
I spent the day playing domestic Goddess. Still didn't get to dust or vacuum, but I'm better organized, have clean clothes and a clean fridge with healthy prepared foods for the week.
Our garden club lunch theme is Kentucky Derby. I threw together a fun derby hat last night. We also have a plant and garden junk sale. It's one way to 'be in the garden' while spending time inside during rain!

Good morning! Thank you for starting us off, Suzanne! Carol, good on your for your nice surprise at WI. Lisa your Kentucky Derby party sounds like a blast. Did you all wear big hats? No, Friday's incident at work was not productive and certainly did nothing to boost morale. Yesterday was my kind of day here - moderately overcast with peeks of sun, cool and breezy. I bought my first plants of the season - two butter crisp lettuce four packs, a mesclun mix four pack, and a rosemary. I plan to add a few more veggies, but am keeping it light this year. My primary objective it to find really effective hummingbird plants. I have a japonica vine in one area near the bird bath and am putting in some caladium bulbs that have brilliant red foliage in the side border to attract the hummers. Daily Affirmation - New month, new day, new way! Fitness Report - one mile walk at track and gym for a long PT session and some weights. Health Goal - I have started my Monday-Friday tracking - stay the course, one week day at a time. Gratitude - the lovely month of May and all my little friends returning and all the new little lives. ♥

Good Morning, Angels:
The Canadian Geese are outside, honking. The last couple seasons, they've discovered some retention ponds in my neighborhood. It must be where they're roosting. I love them. To have them right around us is unusual. I wonder if they're my spirit animal? One of them is perched atop my neighbors roof, surveying the landscape, I guess.
Lisa: I can only imagine how busy you are. It so fantastic that you're business is booming! I am so happy for you. Its a tough business. Everyone wants every thing done in such a short window of time. Yours is a good idea - Allow yourself those times for update/questions/follow-up.
The nursery I visited on Friday had some gorgeous annuals, really lush. So, I picked up some snapdragons, salvia, calibrachoa, marigolds, and a few perennials. My seedlings I started a while back are not doing well. If I had to make my living on my seedlings, I'd be in deep compost (doo-doo).
Pat: The lead-person in that group who was hypercritical of you all has an ego-issue. You are calm and confident and that type of stuff will just roll off your back. (Think about that Elk.)
Of course, having said that, I would have responded the same way you did: food, drink plus my own choice-words for that person and some venting. In time, we'll help bring each other around to a calmer place. That's why we exist here on MBS.
Thanks for the video-link to the "how to read oracle cards". I watched part one. Now, I need to watch part two. That's the same deck I got my SIL last year. I'm sure I gave her that one, based on your advice. I should really get a deck for myself!!
Carol: Congrats on the scale-victory. That is awesome! I'd never heard "HALT". Thank you. I need to utilize it. I've been having problems sticking to the plan. Most days I go over my points. Some days - way over. Sometimes, I just can't seem to fill myself up. I wish I had your drive for exercising. That's another wagon I've fallen off of. Maybe I need to start wearing my fitbit, like you do. Its been on the kitchen counter for about 3 months.
Time to start the day.
Suzanne
Daily Affirmation: I am a masterpiece in the making. Fitness Goal: Power up my fitbit and shoot for....7500 steps today. Less sitting, more walking. Health Goal: Veggies. Water. Repeat often. Gratitude: For all the animals that surround me. They talk to me, but I haven't learned their language yet.

We crossed paths in cyberspace! I looked up the symbolism of the Canada Goose and found this:
If Goose has flown across your path: You are being reminded that we often take on the quests of our peers and family without stepping back and discerning whether or not this is something that we ourselves would wish to pursue. Make sure that the path you are currently following is your own and look deeply into your heart to ascertain that the choice is yours and not what someone else has wished upon you.
Alternatively the quest you are currently on is about to take an abrupt change of course. Know that this is only a temporary thing and that you will soon be back on your chosen path.
If Goose is your Animal Totem: You are kind, loyal and brave. Family and friends is a high priority for you. You are a clear communicator and a compassionate member of your community. Your focus is always on the community and family as a whole unit and make your decisions (often with self sacrifice) based on what is best for all. You have an innate belief that there is just one special person in the world for each of us and make a devoted and tentative spouse. You are good at setting your boundaries and aggressive at keeping them in place. Your greatest desire is to manifest the “good life” for your family and community. You know how to tap into the Universal Mind to find the destiny and directions of individuals and then relay the stories they need to activate their process of destiny manifestation.
How interesting!
The first paragraph really made me think! Hmmm. The second portion does fit me a lot, I think. I like to think that I am very kind, compassionate, and loyal. I don't know about "brave". The last two sentences fit us to a tea. Or we are striving to do so.
Now, this grey squirrel and the chipmunk at my birdfeeder. I wonder what they have to say to me. I remember reading, once, about squirrels crossing your path. Don't remember what the symbolism was.
Pat: I really do love animals and believe they have a lot to teach us humans. I am here to learn from them.
Serious storms heading our way. Tornado watches in effect for our area, as well as Carols (I believe). I've spent the day, scurrying around the yard, battening down the hatches. I've moved all my garden plants inside. 🌺
