Just saw this tweet by someone named Kavian Schroff (?--sorry, but I have no clue who that is, just thought the tweet was funny)
"Andrew Jackson talked to Frederick Douglass about the Civil War while they ate Trump steaks near the site of the Bowling Green Massacre."

That CBS interview was absolutely pathetic. What an embarrassment for the entire country before the eyes of the world!

Jackson âwas really angry that he saw what was happening in regard to the Civil War.â Next time we take visitors to tour The Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home), I'm going to have to look for that crystal ball he must have had!

Evidently, Steve Bannon is the one with a huge interest in Andrew Jackson & turned Tweety on to taking an interest in him as well. Bannon doesn't buy that slavery was the real issue behind the Civil War, which plays into his Breibart base & beliefs. So, several people today have mentioned that this is the " dog whistle" for Tweety to reassure his "alt-right" groupies he believes what they do to.. I do believe Bannon is a serious evil influence on Tweety, altho, Tweety is dumb enough to get himself in trouble all by himself! But having Bannon in the WH & close by whispering in his ear is very dangerous for this country!

WASHINGTON â During a swanky Beverly Hills conference on Monday, U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross compared the April 6 U.S. airstrike on Syria to âafter-dinner entertainment.â Ross described how President Donald Trump notified visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping of the strike while the two were enjoying dessert at Trumpâs Mar-a-Lago resort. âJust as dessert was being served, the president explained to Mr. Xi he had something he wanted to tell him, which was the launching of 59 missiles into Syria,â Ross said, according to a report in Variety. âIt was in lieu of after-dinner entertainment ... The thing was, it didnât cost the president anything to have that entertainment.â The actual cost of launching the 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles was about $60 million.) The crowd went wild after Rossâ remarks, Variety reported. The controversial billionaire was speaking at an event hosted by the Milken Institute, a California think tank. Conference-goers paid at least $12,500 each to attend unless they had ties to event sponsors like Goldman Sachs, Reuters noted in a story that called the event a meeting of the âglobal elite.â The Department of Commerce did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Trump made the decision to hit Syria after U.S. officials blamed Syrian President Bashar Assadâs government for a chemical weapons attack that killed at least 87 people in early April. French intelligence officials say they have since confirmed that Assad was responsible. Last month, Trump shared his own colorful recollection of when he told the Chinese president about the Syria strike. âI was sitting at the table. We had finished dinner. Weâre now having dessert. And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that youâve ever seen, and President Xi was enjoying it,â Trump told Fox News Business host Maria Bartiromo last month. âI said, âWeâve just launched 59 missiles heading to Iraq and I wanted you to know this.â And he was eating his cake. And he was silent,â Trump added. (Bartiromo reminded Trump that the country was Syria, not Iraq.) Mar-a-Lagoâs membership fees have more than doubled since Trump took office, and an official State Department website promoted the resort last month.

When I heard that Wilbur Ross comment on the news tonight I was literally astounded. Regardless of whether or not the bombing was justified and/or the right decision to make strategically, for anyone to so callously regard the death of any individuals whatever their nationality, putting American military in harm's way, and violent destruction whether or not justified is simply too disgusting for comprehension. This is "after dinner entertainment?" What next? We'll throw a few people who disagree with Tweety to the lions? He can wear a laurel crown on his head, play the fiddle and pretend to be Nero? It just makes me feel sick to my stomach!

The A-hole-in-chief is stupid. He's also EVIL! The people he surrounds himself with are also EVIL. The common folk that still support him are either stupid or also evil, imho. My Joyce has a friend that's supports him. Her and her husband moved here from Michigan. Both of them need to live in a state where they can get more 'assistance' because they both have severe health problems. They couldn't even afford to have hot water out there but don't get me started. The woman said so many deplorable things about Hillary during the campaign I honestly can't see how Joyce can even look her in the face. I know I can't and won't but she's not my friend. The idiot sitting in the Oval Office is, without a doubt, a clear and present danger to the United States as well as the rest of the planet. He's an evil human monster. The combination of stupid and evil keeps me awake at night. He's not going to change. He's just going to get worse. Those that turn away from all the evil, despicable, and dangerous things he wants to do just because he's a Republican, are imho, also a clear and present danger. He would not be there if it weren't for them and a little help from the Russians but I digress... Joyce went to visit this friend a few days ago. The woman has a brand new grandchild. A beautiful little baby girl. Joyce said the baby was adorable. How can these grandparents look into the eyes of an innocent little baby, their own flesh and blood, without giving a second thought to her future? If she even has a future with a dangerous lunatic in the Oval Office. How can that be? How can they do that? Somebody please tell me how. I don't get it.
