The Mind🌷Body🌷Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good morning! Suzanne I just loved the goose information you shared yesterday. ♥ It should be getting pretty close to the time where I'm driving to work and spot Mama and Daddy Goose with their fuzzy little babies gathered between them in a certain patch of grass. I just love how both parents remain close and equally mind the goslings. Speaking of talking to animals - blush moment here. While walking at lunch I was make small talk with the birds along the way and suddenly realized someone was walking behind me. LOL what a doofus! Stay safe Carol and Suzanne, and Lisa if you are in the storm zone. Daily Affirmation - my spirit is open to the messages from the Universe. Fitness Report - a short-ish lunch walk, talking to animals. Health Goal - eat more plants today. Gratitude - our rain has calmed down and perhaps that means another lunch walk today.

Greetings! Good Morning, Pat, and to all who follow today. Pat, I love your bird-conversation story! I hope the human that was following you enjoyed your chatter. If not, their loss. 🐦 I am copying your affirmation for today - its a good way to start my thoughts for today.
Suzanne
Daily Affirmation: My spirit is open to the messages from the Universe. Fitness Goal: Keep moving. Right now, its all about less sitting and functional movement. Health Goal: Remember "HALT": Hungry? Angry? Lonely? Tired? Gratitude: The companionship of family and friends.

Good Afternoon, Dear Ones!
I love that you talk to the critters....I do that on my walks. Perfectly normal...really....don't you wish you could tune in to what those birdies are chattering about sometimes?
Well, we are drying out somewhat now. We had some real downpours yesterday....I was a little worried about that tornado watch, Holy Moly, it's been years since I saw one of those around here. Last time, several years ago, I was actually out on a bike ride when we saw nasty dark clouds on the horizon, checked the weather map on our phones and I remember our friend saying: "what is all this PURPLE on the radar map...." We rode really fast to get back to our cars. No damage that time, but there were reports of funnel clouds in the area! .But this time, all we got was rain and thunder, thank goodness:) Today, it's spritzing on and off and windy but not too bad. I need a walk, but I'll probably just be on the treadmill. There are flood watches along the lake shore and some folks have had to use sandbags. Our house is upland from the lake & bay so that has not been a big issue for us, just some temporary ponding here and there. Of course, the dandelions and violas are growing like crazy because it's too wet to mow. I think they're pretty, I don't mind them.
Daily Affirmation - Every step counts, no matter how small Fitness report - Expresso bike and wt circuit at the Y yesterday...overslept for the killer fitness class, so i was on my own:) After that, I stayed home for the rain storm! Health Goal - moderation & mindfulness . Here's another tip I learned from someone: the 15 minute rule. If you have a craving, wait 15 minutes and at the end ask yourself if you still really want whatever it is. Rinse & repeat! Gratitude - for lessons that come when I am ready for them (and are repeated as much as I need them, LOL)
Be well! Carol
P.S. I think I had too much caffeine today. Sorry for rambling!

Carol, I love all your dailies today! Great tips, too! Please refresh my memory, where do you live? I remember it was not far from me.
No storming here today, it is gloriously sunny, but very crispy cool. I'm planning on some weeding today. Hoping all this rain will make it an easy chore. I have lots of maple seedlings every year in spring. They nestle in my groundcover patches and near roots of perennials.
I've got a sparrow family nesting in my front gutter. My climbing hydrangea is really taking off turning that corner of the garage, and it's almost hidden by the foliage, and happens to be 10' around the best berry tree for the birds. They are lucky! I've also got my momma mallard nesting in my circle garden under the large bushes. I need to weed out there, but I'm afraid I will scare her away. She had 10 eggs last week, and I scared her. It took her almost 24 hrs to return. I read up on mallards, and they said after she lays her 12 eggs she doesn't leave the nest? Not sure how that is possible, but I don't want to mess up her incubation.
affirmation - my life is in perfect balance! health goal - more water, less food fitness goal - weeding, walking to absorb the beautiful plants emerging all over gratitude - sunshine!
