Good Morning, Angels:
Carol: I am relieved to hear all is well for you. I thought about you when those storms passed over you, then us. What we got was very brief hard rainstorms and only a few gusts of wind. I've never experienced a tornado and hope I never have to. I agree - dandelions and violas are lovely.
“A weed is but an unloved flower.” ― Ella Wheeler Wilcox Your fitness report from yesterday, and mentioning the Expresso bike, got me to thinking. I haven't ridden the Expresso bikes in ages. Maybe I'll give that a go. For the longest time I was totally into it. Its when I started suffering from a sore tailbone, that I changed my program. Our Y now has recumbent Expresso bikes. Maybe I'll give them try.

Good morning everyone! It is a beautiful day here, just a perfect May day. Suzanne, thank you for the HALT reminder - I needed that! I got home tired last night and instead of taking a short power nap, I ate almost half a cup of peanuts. Sigh! Wrote a little reminder to myself in the journal. Functional fitness is great - keep up! And I hope the recumbent Expresso bike works for you. Carol you are such a workout queen. I am also writing your 15 minute rule in my journal, that's a good one. I'm so glad that you and Suzanne both are safe from the storms. Lisa your gardens sound breathtaking and so perfect for birds. Affirmation - I embrace everything that is beautiful about today. Fitness report - lunch walk (had more stamina and walked a wee bit faster and smiled much more); a Margaret targeting chest, deltoids, abs and glutes. Health goal - eat more plans again (but less peanuts). Gratitude - my collection of fitness DVDs.
