My iPad is the only 1 of 4 devices getting wifi now and it logs in perfectly to the pro board unlike my phone. We stopped for lunch at a winery. We had Subway sandwiches. The dog was with us. The winery dogs could care less but the winery cat was a brazen hussy. She hissed at our dog and swiped her paw trying to eat the dog's kibble. She jumped on the table to get our sandwiches and jumped down only when she determined other diners had better food.
Me time is reading, walking the dog and going to Cambria on the central CA coast. We are staying south of there in Baywood Park. There is one restaurant in town, Mexican, and tonight they had a great band playing Grateful Dead, Linda Ronstadt etc. Not sure DH liked it as much as I did. I ordered grilled shrimp with fresh seasonal vegetables no beans and ruce. I drank a glass of water and a diet coke. Easing back on plan.

Going to a winery sounds like a wonderful way to relax and have lunch jamescat1.
Today we are all running errands. DD and family are here for the week and we are enjoying time with the grands. It will be back to work next week before we know it so I am enjoying each day.

Doing some house cleaning today. Still warm here in Houston so I opened the back door for awhile to breathe the fresh air. Won't take down the Christmas decorations until the end of the week.
I've got some new books to dig into which I'll do later today. Hope you all have a great day!

Audrey: Your trip sounds great. That was some cat at the winery.
It is warm here too, 56 degrees and sunny (heat wave in Connecticut). Will be back in the 40's tomorrow.
Weekly goal is to continue my exercise and me-time is my computer time. Got a box of goodies off to my brother this morning.

I am really perplexed. The scales are way up -- I think moreso than mere holiday limited indulgences would account for. I'm hoping it's because I amped up my routine at the gym, lifting more weights and doing more intense cardio on the treadmill. I'm being extra super careful with my tracking and measuring and water-drinking, in hopes that if I keep on keeping on, it will come back off.
Me-time: Some good books from the library.
Goals: Keep on keeping on, and seeing the scales come back down.
Audrey -- That winery cat provided an outstanding floor show for lunch!
The day after Christmas it was 76 degrees here. That was an all-time all-December record, ever since the beginning of recorded weather data. The weather people on TV couldn't stop talking about it. During a slow-news week, it was the most noteworthy thing going.

ladymajky Carol, I'm sorry about your scale. My weight is also up and I'm sticking with the GHGs this week and lots of water. Frustrating for sure!

I'm sure the scale will come back down for you but in the meantime it must be frustrating.

Carol Ann, where are you that it was warm? It was in the upper 50's here today and that was pretty strange, but not a record, I don't think.
Goals for me as a beginner with Beck are to review my Advantages every day, to eat mindfully without distraction, and to make my response cards. I did quite a few of those today and was able to fend off boredom and food cravings. Big credit for that! My weight has been wildly fluctuating for the past few weeks and even months, down 5 up 6, over and over again. Need to do something different...
Me time is easy this week - am going for a week's vacation with my family to the Cayman Islands, leaving tomorrow morning. I will have my laptop with me so plan to stay in touch and to participate on January 2nd when you start a cycle again.
