Happy anniversary Phyl! Quite a milestone!
It's supposed to be rainy all day here although the sky isn't that cloudy at the moment. Just sitting and enjoying my coffee having just finished breakfast. I need to put the laundry in the dryer and stop being so lazy LOL.

Good morning.
Happy Anniversary Phyl and Don. Are you going to celebrate or was your celebration over the weekend when the kids were home.
Another celebration according to my info is a Happy Birthday to Peggy Sue. Hope your day is wonderful.
Pretty chilly here this morning so had to bundle up a bit for our walk. Probably will be staying in most of the day. I think I overdid it yesterday with driving and grocery shopping and during the night my wrist started hurting again so today will be cold pack and rest.
Nothing else happening here. Have a good day.

Good morning everyone
Happy anniversary Phyl and Don.
Hopefully our haircuts are today. Hairdresser never texted back when I texted saying I was looking forward to haircuts today. Appointment is at 1. He comes to our home. Hate to bother him with a phone call but definitely will call and make sure he is ok if he doesn’t show up.
Today will charge up the Ring door bell and one inside Ring camera. The rest of the indoor security system is hard wired. We plan on getting outside cameras next year. I give access to our daughter when on a trip. She can see who comes to our front door and see inside the office if anyone enters that room. Most likely a burglar will go into that room if in the house. Whole house inside windows alarms and motion detectors will catch them and a horrible loud alarm will echo in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately home burglary and home invasions are increasing and according to sheriff station having outside cameras detours them. So that’s why we are getting them.
Phyl- so sorry you have so much pain right now. Wish I could help you.

Hope she pops in with the right day!! for her Birthday!!
I got my shots today, both flu and Covid booster.
also stopped at seamstress for my white denim skirt she shortened for me. Looks much better even though I could have gone a couple more inches shorter.
town busy today and sun did come out now and then and not as many clouds in sky as there were this morning. Solar lights and lantern are in sun drying out. those get put away in basement. I don't use them in late fall, have a couple things for Halloween that I put out. A big wired pumpkin with battery light in it. That I really like and the regular one that plugs in for the trick or treaters. I don't buy pumpkins anymore. they get too nasty for me to get rid of . no place to get rid of corn stalks either big mess eventually.

Betty, it was actually high 60s this morning at 5:30. But going to 97 on the weekend with thunderstorms Sat night and Sunday…just what you need for house breaking a puppy outside.
Connie, pumpkins on the front entry would fit here in three days! Corn stalks a major dried fire hazard.
Decided to keep the furry one up later so she would sleep later. So she slept on the floor by us anyway then got a second wind until ten. I got to sleep at 11 kind of decompressing first. Woke her at 3:15 for potty and she slept until 5:30 . I fed her, let her out to do her things and sent Bob back to bed for a while after she happily found him. She was good.
managed shifting to kitchen for a while so cleaner could do her thing, then back to family room. Figured out her 36x36 playpen fits between my bed and the bookcase, which will make more consistency, air flow, and visibility for her, less odd barricading for us.
lightning trip to Costco for milk, paper products, a chicken and mashed potatoes for later and wine for Bob, then bank, Staples to recycle ink cartridges. Bob got the Amazon return and a few groceries at Whole foods and dry cleaning. he gets some time for lunch and then I need to lie down. Getting lots of exercise.
Around 2-5 is the tough, hungry, wired antsy time of day. Taking trainer idea, I will put some wet kibble from her supper into the puppy Kong and keep her occupied getting it out for a while, then rest for supper.
it takes time for her to settle into new people, new place, new schedules….

Yay the hairdresser did show up. Had him cut my hair shorter. I think I will like it better and easier to style.
He has a Tacoma Truck. He has a 3 1-2 inch running board step. I tried to get in not using the step and was very very hard. Actually not safe. Soooo I guess we will be ordering one after we pick up the truck. Disappointed I need the step. The truck is beautiful without it.
Ordered groceries and will go pick them up soon.
Lin- glad things are settling down a little. How is the diarrhea

Had to take the metal catch plates and latches off the play pen because she starts chewing in metal and will not pay attention to anything else. No nasty spray will stop her and I do not want to use hot sauce..it burns taste buds in people. Have to tie it with sturdy cord. Which she will want to chew. Arggg.
if I put duct tape over it, chews that.
have never seen this kind of determination and not old enough to actually teeth yet.
diarrhea is gone…meds will continue though next Monday.

Its been a rainy day. Went to be with Frankie and I'm going again tomorrow. He was feeling much better and coughing less.
