Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Whew! The hectic weekend is over. We had a great one, followed by a much-needed DOR yesterday. I also slept very well and that is always welcome.
Ann ~ I can actually feel your excitement at getting all beautified again. What a treat!!
Judy ~ Glad to hear you had a fab time and are now headed home. Much as I love to go away, I always LOVE coming home!! Lobster ravioli sounds fabulous to me!!
This morning I am taking a friend to drop her car off for service and then taking her back to her apartment to show me where the cat food and treats are kept so I can take care of her kittys while she is out of town for New Year's. She lives about 5 minutes away so it will be an easy stroll over there. She usually has one of her kids take care of her cats, but they are going with her this time. Then I am off to a dental appointment for (yet another) sore tooth. This is really becoming troublesome for me. But the rest of the day I plan to spend recovering (as I assume we will have to do something invasive for this tooth) and relaxing at home.
BBL. Make a great day!

Good morning, Ann and all who follow!
I am babysitting for my granddaughter for the next three days, and then DH and I will be heading south for three months. I am ready for warmer temps! I took the Christmas tree down last night and put all the Christmas decorations away. I hated to do it so soon after Christmas, but knew I'd better get it done so I could prepare for the trip. We will leave early Friday morning.
Ann, enjoy your time with Enzo today! Waving to everyone else. I'll be back later when my babysitting duties are done for the day.

Did anyone read the post under "General" and then "General Discussion" about Themes?? I found it quite interesting and tried it out last evening.
Carol ~ Looks like we were posting at the same time. Where do you live? And where are you headed "south"? Inquiring minds and all ....... Enjoy your DGD.

Good Morning:
I'm so sorry about your tooth Sue.
Happy you can see Enzo Ann.
Judy: A spa day sounds so nice.
Carol: Enjoy your granddaughter.
Act: Enjoy.
Happy Post-Holiday to Kathy and Chele.
Sounds like everyone had a nice holiday. I did as well. We arrived home yesterday. Not sure what I'll do today. I was tired and slept in and still feeling groggy. I may take it pretty easy. We'll see.

Hey Everyone...I definitely have hit a wall, so seriously taking it easy, while trying to make Baby Steps on settling in. J is up in Salem getting his last load, so home stretch there. While the scale is steady, I am so aware of all the rich and pointy foods I ate and I feel very sluggish...so it's GHG's for me today! I've already had 3 vegetables, so feeling very noble. judy709 Safe trip home!, hope the geezers will be behaving. As to your question yesterday, I understand your quandary, but I say, be true to you; I can be as excessive as the next person, but I was really grateful that I didn't feel any need to keep up with Dana's parents. I thought your gift sounded lovely. ann1953 Hope you are bee-u-ti-ful. carolyn0506 Glad you are home safe and sound. I finished the Present Not Perfect book, and loved it the whole way through; must just keep on 👣👣👣 ceebee53 I'll just echo Sue's questions, LOL. Fill us in on your plans. I've never officially known a Snowbird before! suewms I can not say enough how sad I am about your tooth. (((Hugs))), GF. I appreciate the way you are trying to keep a good attitude about it all; I'm afraid I'm not keeping such a good one about my non-healing rotator cuff (oh yeah, Kathy, remember you were supposed to do some exercises? ??) I did some of the themes you were talking about, but the holiday ones were seriously jarring; I returned to default on the first day. Have fun today, Act!

Hi, All ~ I am finally back home. I took GF to drop off her car and felt good about that. Took her home and she gave me her spare keys and showed me where she keeps the cat food & treats and introduced me to her two kittens. Then I had time to spare so I went to Loft Outlet and exchanged a pair of jeans. DH got me started wearing their jeans a half dozen or so years ago and I found they fit like they are made for me. Since he has supplemented my wardrobe with new ones each Christmas. This year they moved the petites around and by accident he grabbed "Curvy" instead of "Modern" fit but they had absolutely no problem exchanging them for me.
Then I went to the dentist. She and I had quite the discussion about this upper molar that has been troubling me. In the end we decided the only option was to excise it. When she discovered the root was indeed fractured as well as infected, she was happier with her decision. We both hated the idea; but agreed we didn't have any other choices. Now I have a sore, bleeding open spot in my mouth. Back when she removed my wisdom tooth she offered me pain meds and I declined saying I probably wouldn't take them anyway. This past weekend I wished I had some at home LOL. So I took her up on her offer today and stopped at Meijer and got it filled (all 10 pills) and if I don't need them, I'll put them in the medicine box for sometime when one of us do.
Now I'm all caught up on everything that needs to be done so I can get some R&R the next couple of days. Will check back in with you all when time permits.

Hi girls. Well I had a simply mahvelous time with Enzo getting 'beautified' LOL. Tomorrow I'll be going to WW'ers and to see Kathy for my manicure! They say lots of snow here on Thursday into Friday, and I want to get the meeting in. I really need it!
Judy I'm sure the spa was wonderful!
Sue so glad you slept well. I did see that under 'general discussions' but my computer skills leave much to be desired LOL. Have fun with it!
Carol enjoy those warmer temps and your dear grand kids.
(((Sue))) take care of that mouth.
Time for me to unplug and unwind. I was on the phone with a guy that I worked with. Seems like we really don't keep in touch with each other, and had a LOT of catching up to do.
Talk at some point tomorrow.
Ciao

Hi Everyone,
Yes, DH and I are snowbirds! We go to the Gulf Coast of Alabama, and rent a condo right on the beach for 3 months. Friends of ours invited us down years ago and we've been going ever since. We have formed some wonderful friendships with people from all over the U.S., and we thoroughly enjoy our 3 months away from winter. The hardest part is being away from the grandchildren, but our kids usually try to come down for a visit while we are there. We will leave early Friday, stay in a hotel about half-way down, and arrive at the beach on Saturday.
Sue, I am so sorry to hear that you had to have that tooth pulled. It sounds like it was the right thing to do considering the condition of the tooth, but how terrible that you had to go through that. I think you made the right decision to get the pain pills just in case you need them. There is no sense in suffering so when the pain is unbearable. I am sending healing thoughts to you, and hope now that the tooth is gone you will start to feel better.
Kathy, I am not surprised that you hit the wall. You did so much the last few weeks to make the move happen. I am glad you are taking it easy and making baby steps as far as getting settled. When I retired a wise person told me to remember that I did not have to get everything done in one day. I try to remember that when I'm feeling anxious about completing a project. Another thing I ask myself is "In 10 years will it matter...." For example, in 10 years will it matter if you unpack those boxes (or whatever) today, or if you wait a few days or even weeks. Most of the time--at least for me--is that in 10 years it won't really matter. I know you didn't ask for advice, and if you want me to MYOB please tell me so!
Judy, I hope you survived the geezer traffic and that you are safe and sound at home by now. I bet you DO look 30 years younger after your spa day!!!
Carolyn, I hope you had a restful day and that you were able to recuperate from your holiday weekend.
Ann, hooray for your time with Enzo today! It sounds like you are having a good week of "me time" since you will have WW and a manicure tomorrow. Enjoy!
I know it's late so I hope you all see my post. I'm not sure how to highlight your user name to make sure you are notified if I make a comment to you--do I just type in your user name or do I put an @ sign in front of it like on Connect?
I hope everyone has a peaceful evening.

How nice that you are snowbirds. I had a friend that used to go to Florida (panhandle area) every year to escape the winter. Then they sold their home and moved there. We went to visit them and they had a lovely home. Both have passed on......
No clue how to do any of that fancy stuff. I just respond to people typing their name. Because I have a PC only, I don't think I can access connect. I read it once in awhile, but no clue how to become friends with anyone that I actually know!
Yes, I'm taking advantage of my ME time LOL. Can't wait to get the manicure done. My polish is so chipped off it's pathetic. I wanted to wear GLOVES today LOL.
Sleep well!
