Just read (Newsweek) that Lauren Boebert might lose. Frisch currently holds the lead at 51.2 to Boebert's 48.8 with 81 percent of the votes counted in their district.
Rene I just realized, Beto is 0 for 3 now in TX. Shame he couldn't unseat Ted Cruz a few years back.

The news is better than I expected this morning. I believe the House will go Republican, but the Senate looks like Democrats have a chance. Quite a few election-deniers were defeated.

It's still a tight race and hasn't been called in New Mexico, but it looks like we're going to flip one of the seats in House to Blue. I must admit that the redistricting that was done helped the Democratic candidate. This would mean that both Senators and all three House members are Democrats.
And Fetterman beat Oz! Yay!

Boy ny dems are messed up by the former Governor. That governor NY Ran a bad race. She should have talked aobu t crme and what ny does for it an don't shy away from saying you want guns in subways is that what you are asking for? if Cuomo had not appointed such a bad Judge the redistriciting would have held. And we would win the house .

In Wiscosnin we have the worst gerrymandering. In spring we elect a Judge for our state Supreme Court. If we get the Progressive in the. Court will rule the gerrymandering is against Wiscosnin state Constitution. I hope our1849 law onabortions is part of the campaign in Spring.

Beto is not particularly my cup of tea either (he's too centrist for me) but that's precisely why I thought Texans may go for him. He's democrat light with many common sense takes on relevant issues. Too bad the third party wishy washies couldn't just go for the better of the two. It's pretty bad when Abbott, or as the case was with Trump, is so bad that even a ham sandwich is the better choice. Not saying Beto is the ham sandwich. Just that anything is better than that loser.

Not with his stance on firearms. I always forget McCarthy is from California. Bakersfield. I glanced at some article that said the Freedom Caucus doesn't want him as Speaker, assuming the Repubs go ahead and take the House. Which seems to be the case.

Arizona (Mark Kelly) won and so did Catharine Cortex Masto in Nevada. I'm confused about the statement about West Virginia. I don't think there were an U.S. Senate seats up for election there.

luanne, amyrs, might have meant that Joe Manchin doesn't always vote with the Democrats.

luanne , amyrs , might have meant that Joe Manchin doesn't always vote with the Democrats. Now I get it. Yes, Joe Manchin and also Kyrsten Sinema in Arizona don't always vote with the Dems.

I was watching PBS Nightly News on Friday, with Judy Woodruff, David Brooks, and Jonathan Capehart. David Brooks heard a funny thing (referencing the Democrats not addressing inflation concerns enough according to the pollsters): "America decided they would rather have a party that's out of touch in power, than a party that's out of its mind."
