This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Okay CATs! I'm done with my all out binge on sugar-filled everything! I guess we actually got enough interest to have a WW at Work session - it starts next Wednesday. I hope to get to the top of my healthy BMI range for that first weigh-in. Silly, I know, but I don't want to see a bad number on the scale (that's why I didn't weigh myself today - maybe by the end of the week I'll find the courage). I also didn't want to see a high number recorded in my WW book - hopefully the last time it gets this high. GRRRR! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to you! I need to get caught up on the past posts but work beckons and I must be good. I'm in charge this week after all (who's the crazy person who put me in charge?? ). Have a great day everyone! HUGS!!!

GM All -
Andrea - I am with you! I am actually glad to get back to the habit I was forming as I had two weeks of meeting my step goal every day and actually tracked for a week - then Sat, Sun, Mon were just bad days for sugar β again. But itβs gone now! I just filled my water bottle = 4 cups. I have been sleeping like crap so I stayed in this morning until the last possible minute, which means tonight I have to do TM and FB workout.
We survived the big blizzard. My brother-in-laws family spent Christmas night at our house until DH could get their car (and a path down our driveway) dug out with the tractor. The he spent all day yesterday moving snow. I think the drifts in our back yard are about 4-5 feet deep. It will be a long winter!
I am glad to be back here among friends!

Greetings from sunny NW Maryland. We just finished family Xmas and are full of breakfast and coffee. DSILs and I are going for a walk in a bit. I'm in charge of dinner tonight, then I'm done with group feeding. I'm feeling the effects of daily sugar and I'm ready to walk away. Last night DS had us stargazing on the deck. It was an impressive show. That's a lot of snow! We are expecting some on Thursday. It's beautiful here with some snow. Lazy day. Tomorrow is spa day for the ladies. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi everyone. I'm here after a pretty long time away. I'm sitting in a quiet house for a few minutes with just the dog waiting for the next round to get underway. After spending a couple of days before Christmas with M&D I left on Christmas Eve to head to MMs daughter's house. We had a fun and lively time with them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then drove about 4 hours back to my M&Ds house to spend Christmas night. MM went back yesterday and willl come again tomorrow for one more night. My DB and DSIL will come in tonight with 4 dogs, and my DN and GF will make a day trip tomorrow. I'll be back home Thursday afternoon, will work Friday then head to the beach for New Years I think. Whew! Our family celebration here will be tomorrow and I'm cooking a tenderloin again.
I echo the need to step away from the sugar, but honestly it could have bern worse. I've baked nothing but two coconut cakes. Not a single cookie! I intended to bake a few but it just hasn't happened yet and at this point I don't think it will. MM has promised to serve us lots of salads with grilled chicken or fish from the time we get back to Raleigh until we leave for the cruise on 1/15 do we can have done wiggle room to eat what we want while we are on vacation. He's a keeper!
I'm signing off now to try out my new coloring book and pencils. Let's see if it relaxes me or stresses me out trying to color perfectly!

Hello from sick bay.
DS2 and DGF left @ 8 a.m.; she was still not well.
DD reports that it hit their house, too.
I'm not great, but better today. Just woozy, a little dizzy. I did not sleep well. Water and toast today.

Sorry about the flu hitting your house, Nancy. hello there T. Enjoy the spa day! Karla, that's a lot of snow. I always think of Laura Ingalls and snow. I still haven't found my reread book. It's still chaotic, unpacking boxes and the like. Andrea, you go girl! You'll do it. I'm going to do W30 starting 1/2 Martha, the tart sounds great. I'm off to the grocery for some inspiration. Susan, sounds like a fun and busy time for you. Enjoy the new Years celebration. Well, I'm out of time. I just wanted to check in and say hello. No new news. Frieda
