The Mind🌻Body🌻Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good morning my lovelies! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It got so cold here last night I brought my tomato seedlings back in. But, it beats a heat wave any day.
Daily Affirmation - Be yourself, that's all that you can do (Chris Cornell)
Fitness report - Pilates, Kundalini for back, long walk around neighborhood (over 10,000 steps! Doesn't happen often for me.)
Health Goal - Eat light and lean today.
Gratitude - An active day yesterday.

Good Morning, Angels:
Hope you're all well and staying warm. Or cool, depending on where you live. Its quite cool and overcast here.
Carol: How does your newly-exposed walkway look? Now that DH has retired, I know (hope?) he'll be doing the same thing.
Pat, you need a Varidesk at work! (I am assuming sitting is worse than standing?) www.varidesk.com I am very tempted to try one. Not just yet but if business gets better, it looks like a great option. Much more expensive than a Kabooti but probably worth it. I wish I could test one first. Also, standing burns more calories!
Lisa: Keep on designing and planting. Over the last 5 days, I've planted about 100 flowering annuals. And I still have more. And need to buy more. A lot of them were small 6-pack size, so not as big a deal to plant as the 4" pots (but I still like to keep count; I am a bookkeeper, after all). I am evaluating where I need to add perennials. I have some perennials that have just done so well to fill in as ground cover that I've decided they are well worth the investment (versus annuals which I have to replace each year or weed the exposed patch if I plant nothing).
Daily Affirmation: I can't change it - got to roll with it. Fitness Goal: Get my ankle/foot ready for trying Wednesday's dance class Health Goal: Behave while eating out. Gratitude: For flowers...🌻...Candy for the eyes.

Good Morning, Dear Ones!
Pat - I like the sound of that "light and lean"
Go, Suzanne, on the annuals!
My walkway is about 40% done...still a work in progress, LOL!
That Varidesk looks promising, especially as you're easily able to change from sitting to standing. I think you want to change positions now and then, so as not to have blood pooling in your legs. We have a desk treadmill, with a TM speed of 0-4mph, but the desk platform is not height-adjustable. With it, we are always standing and it is a better height for my sweetie than for me. But it's great for getting a little stepping while you read or do simple tasks on the computer...I find the max speed I can walk and still read is 2.3 mph, but I can't do any complex data entry at that speed! Sometimes I use just the TM or maybe watch a video. Downside to this contraption is it takes up a big footprint in a room because of the TM.
Daily Affirmation - I use my time wisely Fitness report - Fitness class & Expresso bike Health Goal - pass on those empty carbs Gratitude - for living in a time & place with so many choices available to me
