I am going to WW tomorrow. I bought a laptop I can use at school in fall. I am getting refund for the course. And will pay it off once ai receive th4 money. I get the laptop Saturday and pay it off before I owe it February 20. I will save for fall courses in case my Pass plan falls apart.

Amy and Brenda are either of you on FB? Deb and I can message each other there and see FB posts so I thought it could be another connection for us in case this board ever went south. I wouldn't want to lose touch with you. I signed up for Social Security and expected it to start in Feb since I signed up in Oct( I could sign up 4 months early) But it turns out that when you sign up for Feb, you dont get your first check until March! Also in case any of you do not know this, they take out money for Medicare Part B for the prescriptions. If you are still working, you can delay that but in my case, even thought my work covers my medical, I had to start paying the Part B Medicare when I turned 65 in October of 2021, in order to keep the Military Tricare plan my husband has from Army retirement. That means that at about 170 a month of my SS is deducted for medicare part B. Jim also has to pay for Medicare out of his SS retirement money. In other news lol I went to the Orthopedic clinic the other day because I thought maybe I had carpel tunnel. The PA who examined me says she thinks it is tendonitis, so she prescribed naproxen. I will see what happens. They did an ex-ray but a coworker said, and I also read that Carpel Tunnel does not show up on ex-rays. She did a sort of hand test with me for this diagnosis. I am taking the med faithfully so I will see what happens after two weeks. I know losing weight will help, but I am just terrible about that, as you know.

Mo congrats about getting SSA. I don't pay for medicare part B because I have income below the amount you have to pay for that. But if I worked I would have to pay it. I am getting physical therapy also. Mo, if this board went South let's give in messages our phone numbers emails to each other. Deb, did that finally send in your leave information already. Deb your Doctor is not doing his job. He has to submit that work. he got paid for his work and you should be paid for his leave. Mo hope you feel better. I am taking acetaminophen 3 times a day for pain. I figured out I can save if A PLAN TO ACHIEVE SELF SUPPORT from SSA to be trained and go to school. I would like that to start in June. if it doesn't I can save up for one or two classes for fall I believe. I hope it comes through. I got a laptop for school. I paid for it entirely with the refund I received "Friday from school. I would be happy to pay in fall and make DVR pay if they refuse the PROGRAM to Achieve self-support.

Good Morning. Deb did your Doctor send the information to worl finally? Hi Brenda and MO I applied to SSA and DVR to support a work goal that I would like to get skilled in by SSSa paying me SSI in one account and using my SSA to pay for Schoo. I think I can make because in my state you can get additional money to live on SSI by having 40 hours of help at home a month. I faxed that to hopefully start in July for next fall. I need to take 4 classes and petition next fall this year for medical coding 3 clusters 1 per semester for 3 more academic semesters after next fall. But if one. of the 4 is offered this summer I can take it. I have a laptop now that I can take to an in person class which I did not have this past semester. I used my refund to pay for a laptop. I have Microsoft word excel ex, in it which my next payment is in 2024. I go this Friday to Russ's family for a Friday night dinner. That will be a late night .But luckily I can sleep late Saturday. Today my case manager is coming over. I want to tell her that don't need night meds to sleep anymore getting plenty of sleep.

I am eating whole wheat spaghetti and Felt monte can of basil and. oregano. pasta sauce. Together it costs 19 a week for 7 cans and 7 packages. It is the cheapest way to feed myself. I will get some food delivered Thursday hopefully 2 tuna casserole
I would then eat 1 can of progresso lentil soup if I get those. Those would cost now about 16 a week for one can a day.

I called Social Security t make a local appointment and they hung up on me and said I could no longer use a work incentive known as a pass plan for disabled people.

It's January and a new year. I think it's easier to plot day by day rather than change immediately for a new year. Tried and true-- Use smaller plates; load up half those plates with healthy veggies, fruits and lean proteins before adding much anticipated treats; suggest after dinner walks with family/guests; alternate drinks with water; add simple exercises throughout day -i.e. -countertop pushups while waiting for microwave, squats or leg lifts while talking on phone.
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs January 1 through January 31, 2023.
