The Mindy🌺Body🌺Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good Morning, Angels!Pat! Thank you for keeping the thread alive yesterday! I got up super-early to work on a special project and the day flew from there. I remember, at one point, thinking I want to check in. But I must've gotten distracted, probably by one of my four-legged children.Carol: I would LOVE to have a desk treadmill. I've heard they are fantastic for calorie-burn. (Much better than sitting.) I have the treadmill. Is it an attachment/accessory you purchase to add to your existing treadmill? It'd be even better than the Varidesk altho for some things (when I'm shuffling papers), I couldn't be on the treadmill. LOL! Can you see me! Let me know what you have; I'll do my research on my end. The poor treadmill probably hasn't seen 100 miles. Poor thing. Ah - the best of intentions. Lisa: Thinking of you. Every time, I start to "catch up" on my planting, I go buy more plants. LOL. Today is another planting day for me and I hope to get a lot planted. At that point, most of what I want to plant (with flowering annuals) will be complete. Or so I think. SuzanneDaily Affirmation: I engage in behavior and philosophies that are good for my body, my mind, and my soul. Fitness Goal: Be kind to my body; treat it like I want it to last.Health Goal: Be kind to my mind and body; treat them like I want them to last.Gratitude: for Eckhart Tolle (introduced thru Oprah), who was the first person who really influenced the the way I think, feel, and believe. A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. Thank you, Eckhart. Thank you, Oprah.

Hey there girls!
I had every intention of checking in yesterday, but started online shopping for some things to save time before weekend, then my day moved into another direction.
Carol, I loved your baby step approach to the walkway. I'm sure you'll finish soon. And what an accomplishment! I love natural stone, Not a huge fan of the pavers they use today.
Suzanne, sounds like your yard is going to be really colorful! What are your fav perennials that are doing great? Just curious.
Pat, that desk does look like something you'd like. I am also thinking of getting an adjustable desk. I have a portable drawing board that I use on my kitchen counter usually, then just stash in my office. It works, but my office, which is in my LR is getting a little too crowded with 'stuff' so I'm thinking of taking over one of the spare bedrooms with a view of my yard.
My street garden is looking spectacular! Everything is popping and lots of blooms, and oh, now that my yard is edged and a fresh layer of compost on the top it looks so nice. All this rain has really made it lush! I also have a few dozen annuals to turn into some fab containers.

My HS garden will be on the Elmhurst Garden Walk this summer, which gets between 500-700 ppl. I've been really busy there, planning, planting and purchasing plants until weather cooperates. We're doing our raised beds Potager Style. They are going to be so awesome! I'll be glad when that is behind me, it's been too much!
I still have a long list to accomplish before the weekend, and looking in the mirror, I noticed my hair needs an overhaul. Hoping my color tech can squeeze me in this week, sheesh, one more thing.
Yesterday I did a mock food table set up for the shower and made several candle arrangements with forest mosses inside glass jars with votives inside. I've got lots of forest creatures arranged around my trees and elsewhere. Getting excited for the shower!
affirmation - I am calm, cool and collective! health goal - no whites!!!!!! fitness goal - hauling plants and planting raised beds today if rain cooperates. Power cleaning if it does not. gratitude - my body is sore all over, which is a good sign! Means I'm working it, and oh boy, I have been!
