I don't know which youtube I got this from but it was really good, turned out a lot like hamburger helper lasagna. The changes I made are at the bottom
Grandpa’s Special Combo:
1lb Ground beef
3/4 Cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 Can Stewed tomatoes (1lb 12oz)
1 tsp salt
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar
1. Sauté beef onion in celery in a 3 quart sauce pan until meat is browned 2. Add tomatoes and salt. Bring to a boil. 3. Stir in macaroni; cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally 10 minutes, or until macaroni is tender. 4. Stir in cheese until melted.
I used turkey instead of beef; I used 1- 15oz can of stewed tomatoes that I gave a rough chop plus 1- 8oz can tomato sauce; I added 2 cups of beef broth (you can use water) because it really didn't have enough liquid. I used 1 cup of shredded cheddar because that's what I had on hand, though it didn't really need it.
