YESTERDAY WE WENT TO A OUT OF TOWN QUILT SHOP,
GOT MY SUPPLIES FOR THE BAG CLASS I WANT TO TAKE IN MARCH.MOSTLY I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ZIPPERS.
WAS NOT IN THE SHOP VERY LONG.

WE BOTH HAVE DENTIST APPOINTMENTS IN THE MORNING. NOT SURE WHAT WE WILL DO LATER. WON'T GO OUR AND EAT TONIGHT, PLACES WILL STILL BE TO BUSY FOR US AT THIS TIME.

SPEAKING OF VIOLAS ,DON'S MOM GAVE US SOME YES AGO,SHE CALLED THEM "JOHNNY JUMP UPS" YES THEY ARE HARDLY LITTLE FLOWER. SOME PEOPLE CALL THEM LITTLE PANSIES'.WE HAVE THEM SEVRAL PLACES IN THE YARD..

Nothing happening here today. Fred is going to grill a ribeye and I have a bag of frozen vegetables to go along with it. I think it’s supposed to be a rainy day but he said he can do the grilling in between the storms.

Happy valentines day.
No real plans here either. Had a super large grocery order yesterday but Victoria put them all away. Shes been coming over a year now. Yesterday she put everything in its place. First time wver. I really was happy to see that. I used to always have to go along behind her and rearrange things. I adnit i am very picky. I like things organized. Its just much easier to find things like that.
Couldnt sleep. Pretty sure it's one of my medications. But the benefit in getting from it makes me not want to change it. Very hard for me to find meds that agree with me. I hate jusy laying in bed wide awake. I usually sit up and read or something. This morning i say here and did amazon reviews. Fo any of you write reviews? I dont do it for everything.
Wish we jlhad a way to get news from Shragae. Didnt she say it was to be out patient?

Happy Valentines to my friends in Cyber Space. It is not an easy day but always happy to read about what you are doing for Valentine's if you still have your spouse or a "friend". My DDs said nothing planned for them but hope their SO remembers them today. Young people don't seem to do cards, candy for flowers anymore. Maybe my Grandsons do better these days. Sure hope so. I used to make home made chocolate fudge with walnuts for my DH. We did the simple things , started when raising kids. He would get me one carnation for me and bring it home after work on Valentine's Day. Best thing ever, once in a while a card as well. I still have one that I have had for 60 years in my dresser drawer. The first one after we were married. His family was never good with cards or celebrating anything, and It meant a lot to me.!!! there were other cards as well through our married life but this one the really special one.
Woke up to sunshine and it is to be a bit warmer, just a nice breeze and blue skies.

Phyl, they do look like small pansies. I love pansies, too, and used to have all colors in my flower beds. Nice to remember.
Molly, I find I do much better with my meals when I plan. Otherwise, I don't eat properly. Tryin g to keep it up.
This afternoon, DGS2 will be here after school to cook with me. He'll make dinner for his mom, while his dad and sister have an evening out. Pizza is our plan this evening. I'll help with the dough, but he'll knuckle it into individual pans. He'll assemble the ingredients and I'll make the red sauce. Then he will spread it. We'll make both three-cheese (for him) and hamburger (for the rest of us.) This is simple process, and we did a practice run two weeks ago.
I used the old WW counting system to be sure of my portion. It matches the diabetes nurse's lessons, too.
I hope DSIL and DGD have reservations! We never go out on Valentine's Day -- too crowded for us.

Taxes are almost done. I plan to finish them today so my daughter can take it to my tax attorney. He is in Naperville and she lives in Naperville. It's 53 degrees and supposed to rain. Linus' school isn't having a valentine's day party, but having a whole friendship week with different activities every day.

Phyl, you are doing an excellent job of starting us off this month! Johnny Jump Ups are my favorite early-spring flower.
Connie, loved your sweet story about your husband's Valentine gifts. Thanks for the tip on the fingernail repair stuff. You said it works . . . in what way does it "repair" the nail? Is it a cream or a liquid? I will definitely try it! I've decided, too, that if I get back to dipped nails, I will take my own products each time. Just to be sure that what is used is quality tested.
Shragae, hope you are doing well! Happy Valentine's Day!
I gave the local kids and grandkids boxes of candy from Aldi's, as well as cards for the young ones. Guy took DD and me out for a steak lunch.

Tucking you all in now in our grass green blanket with a huge brown heart in the middle which is our heart shaped garden. All of us are in the garden with our names on little plaques. Diane and Marlene are in charge of watering us all.....Sweet dreams!
