This Day in History:
March 13, 1943 - A plot to kill Hitler by German army officers failed as a bomb planted aboard his plane failed to explode due to a faulty detonator.
Birthday - Scientist and clergyman Joseph Priestly (1733-1804) was born in Yorkshire, England. He discovered oxygen and advanced the religious theory of Unitarianism.

Still not feeling good this morning and since I have no reason as to why this is going on will eat lightly and take it easy. Fred has a dentist appointment this morning but that’s all.

Shana is out on her walk now with Vanessa. I had a little more than 5 hrs. of sleep which is better than I have been doing. Sorry I missed tuck in last night. I fell asleep in my chair. Jim was up and down all night and went thru a call and wake me period at 4 AM. I finally told him to stop calling me because I was trying to sleep so he did.
Just went back to yesterday and saw the beautiful lavender rose from Lucy...thank you!
See you all later for tuck in!

Kathy, glad you got some sleep. Even if it was on your chair. I fell asleep on couch last night and slept there most of the night Not the best sleeping couch but it was fine last night I guess. I did get a couple more hours in bed.
Sandy, maybe stress more than what you ate. I know stress does a big number on me. Even talking to priest was stress at the time, but really Glad you feel like you can move on now!! Jeff has nothing and it is what he deserves and Debby is very happy and moving on, Maija has comes to term with her Dad and how he is and has moved on so I am sure it is fine for you to do the same. No more stress from that area, would be wonderful I am sure. I think you should tell the mother in law that you do not like to hug and Stop!!! that is our decision and our body!!
Woke up to snow on ground and trees so pretty with snow on them. My young neighbor next door has a small tree right by his big front porch and looked like a post card this morning. Also all gone and what snow is falling is not reaching the ground. But at least it is not rain.
I called the neighbor behind me as I had not heard from her lately and couple times no answer, she does not have an answering machine. She sounded horrible and said she had fallen yesterday afternoon. Her friend stops every day with her dog and my neighbor has small throw run in front of front door so the dog doesn't track as much into the living room. She tripped over it and kind of flew across the room and finally hit the big lounge chair, bruised along one side by ribs and groin also hurting really bad , I think I convinced her if her DD thought she should go get it checked out that she would go. DD wanted to take her last night but she refused adamantly.
My goulash turned out pretty good and I managed not to make as much as I usually end up with. I did put a small hot pepper in it that I had frozen in the freezer. Was just right.
Jenny sorry you are having trouble posting.

Connie, I know your neighbor has a reason for the throw rug but I learned years ago that throw rugs are a no no for seniors. A friend had to give up a beautiful hand made one in between her couch and chair years ago because she tripped over it and managed to keep from falling.
Well, I need to get back to work on my taxes. No fun.

I should have guessed. I was thinking that might be the answer. Oh well, I didn't lose anything by not guessing.
