This challenge was created five years ago by a few Weight watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Good Morning!! love light blessings thanks for starting us out. Spacation, sounds like a slice of heaven. Enjoy panera! I think there are point friendly options there. Hooray for avoiding sweets (once I start with even a small amount of sweets, I tend to keep going) I will meet you in spirit at the great big cyber gym. Jan, fantastic that you have a walking buddy. I left mine in El Paso and as I read your post I realized that needs to be on my list. Find someone to walk with. I will add that to my 2017 goals! Carol, with you on fitness class. Our little recreation center was closed so much for the holidays. I did walk every day but not near the same. I have weights here, but do I touch them? Never. My zumba class is cancelled until the New Year, it is only during the day so I am guessing it will be quite a while before I make it back. Probably for the best, I need weights more. (although I always wear my little wrist weights for zumba I do not think that they do too much!!)
YES I DID; go over in points yesterday. Mom wanted to eat out last night. I ate brown rice, tofu and veggies but everything was cooked with fat. So it was delish. I also did a spinning class and get in a short walk.
YES I CAN: do damage control at lunch (another restaurant meal that I cannot get out of), do a tough fitness class tonight (double header, two classes back to back, weight training and aerobics), practice law and be a good daughter/niece. We are meeting again in Waco to drop Mom off and have lunch.
NYE Plans, right now I am planning on going to the jail after Mass -- unless I get a better offer. Starting the black eyed peas.
Fortunately, the gym is only closed Sunday for New Year's Day and back to pretty much normal after that. Normal, what a lovely word. No classes after today until Monday but a good chance to work on weight lifting on my mine. As soon as the County pays me for all those 2016 court appointments I am going to hire a trainer to reach an important personal goal. Lifting, carrying, and handling 50#, I have gotten up to 30# on my own but now need help. Everything weighs 50# and I hate asking for help.
love light and blessings janet

Good Afternoon, positive e-pals!
Sally - You sound very focused and positive! I know you will do well on spacation! It sounds wonderful🏝🛳
Janet - I meant to ask you before, how was your grain roast? What do you put in it? I'm an omnivore, but always looking for more healthy variety in plant-based dishes. My dance classes start up again next week. Tap II will conflict with gentle yoga....so I need to remember to talk to my instructor, who is sooo wonderful, to find out when and where her other two classes are (not at my Y, thus I will be out of my comfort zone...but that's a good thing, right?) so that I still can benefit from her guidance.
Yes I DID: --enjoy chiro adj today....my doc is going to Hawaii next month....sigh! --make healthy oatmeal with strawberries for breakfast, yummy --start the day with positive thinking, YES!
Yes I CAN: --continue decluttering momentum --eat mindfully --wind down earlier and get more sleep tonight
Be well! Carol

Happy Thursday Evening.
YES, I DID... --survive my Jazzercise class tonight. Muscles are sore! --eat healthy with only minor blip. --some light yard work. --drove Mom to errands and grocery shopped while she was getting her hair done.
Wow, I am really sore tonight. Some heavy weight training at dance class. It is suppose to rain tomorrow so I will be "forced" into a day of rest. Thank-you.
Sally: I agree with Carol that you sound very motivated and positive. What's your secret? I want some!
Carol: I like to look at two conflicting things, such as your two classes, as a new door opening somewhere. Boldly walk through.
Janet: I laughed at your NY's Eve plan. LOL. Bet lots of people will go to jail and wonder how they got there. Nat: Sending you a snow shovel!
