My laundry is done and everything is put away. It's snowing outside now. I feel sorry for the kids that are going to be trick or treating later. It's 37 degrees and snowing.

Hi!
Connie, thank you so much for the lovely month of October. Sending you a terrific hug for sure! Have you heard any more news from you brother?
Diane, will be praying as you asked. I think having family rent an apartment nearby is a nice idea. Thank you for choosing to be our leader in November. If you need help at any time, please just ask. I really liked that you were a frog for halloween!
We didn't dress for halloween as I recall (we lived five miles out in the country), but I do remember the big boys moving the equipment from the Allis Chalmers garage to lots of places in the little town. It was always fun to see the messes when we rode into town on the school bus on November 1. I did make costumes for my kids -- DD says they always had to be something that would work with sweatshirts and sweatpants. It was almost always cold. Tonight, we will be going to our church's Safe Stop. We'd better, 'cause I only have seven Reese's peanut butter cups. LOL!
Cute pictures of the pups!
Gotta go. Stay safe! ~~Molly

I am sitting on a chair sideways by the screen door so I can open it a bit and hand out candy bags. Knees do not want up and down and foot hurts after groceries, work, making supper, and grocery store again to return the extra 90 fun size bars DH bought. The bags gave thee fun size each, 86 of them. Costco bags used to hold 150 but no number on it and lots less this year.so when we had only 55 baggies, he went to the store and did not see 90 per bag! We sure did not need $14 more candy. It is his turn in a while.
i hate handing out candy and have done it since I became a teen and mom made me stay home to do it instead of seeing friends . I think I am saying I refuse next year. if he wants it, he can do it. With luck, there willnot be fire pit smoke to set off allergies. So far, so good. One year I was home a week from work with inflamed sinuses that infected it from it.
Feel bad for the boys alone with no pals

Another day when Jim spent most of it in bed. He ate breakfast at 10AM and had lunch too because he was still hungry after finishing 2 eggs, a waffle and cantaloupe ....then I made him a pb and sf jelly sandwich. He got up at 8 for dinner and I made him stuffed salmon. While I was cooking it he went back to bed so I brought it in to him in bed. He ate 2 bites and that was it. He did drink some of his milk and had some pineapple too but that was it. Good thing he didn't ask for dessert because I would have said NO WAY!
So now, for the last time: Tucking you all in with our blanket. We are outside under two beautiful fall trees -- One with yellow leaves and the other with red. Our blanket we are on has baskets of apples and a couple small pumpkins in them and we're staying warm drinking our hot cocoa....sweet dreams!
