You live in the state up north. That's the phrase I learned when we lived in Ohio. We raised our girls in South King County, Washington, south of Seattle. We moved from our 1.33 acre property and the home my husband built to live in Ohio with our oldest daughter and family with our only two grands at the time. We moved from there to Las Vegas. We sold our townhome and rental condo and went on the road in an RV for two years. We finally bought a home in Texas and love it here. I have a sister and nieces that live on a ranch 20 minutes from us. Change is good.

Thankyou my friend. I'm doing as much as I can until I get my cane and then I'll do a little more. Can't wait to walk the hills here where we live. It's the little things that keep me going.

Sally, So glad you are getting around now!!! I have had DH install grab handles anywhere in or out of the house (mostly pertaining to single or two steps) that I feel uncomfortable about. This is a must for me and am so glad they are there. These are always used now. Safety first!

Sunday 11/26 20 minutes walking before and after church. Monday 11/27 20 minutes walking the race track and actually walked out the front door, up the driveway to the mailbox to mail two birthday cards one to my our son-in-law in WA and one to our daughter in OH. Used my cane so it was an easy walk but I went slow. DH watched me out the front window just in case. Tuesday 11/28 20 minutes walking the race track and my last PT YEA! And I can walk without my cane whenever I choose, even outside. My balance is great. Wednesday 11/29 20 minutes walking the house and outside a bit without a cane. Thursday 11/30 20 minutes walking Brookshire, grocery store with DH and then walking the dog outside. My case worker comes tomorrow to sign me off for PT and that I'm good to go it alone! Friday 12/1 40 minutes walling to deliver a card to a friend from church. Saturday 12/2 Opps, too much walking yesterday. Curbing my activity today to 20 minutes.
