Good Morning Chicks,
Hope everyone is alright this morning, just getting us started for today.
Karen - hope you, Dale and Phoebe got some sleep and rest last night
Chele - how are you feeling? Is the headache still around and do you have any idea what has caused it?
Becky - hope your knee and back feel a bit better today. Don't know if you do well with ice, but it does help me with my knees.
Linda - thanks for the link to the NI for the mac and cheese. I do have that link bookmarked since it has some great information.
BBL - and please take care all! Ciao for now!

Good morning and thanks for the start Liz.
We went for our dinner out on my company last night and had some good seafood. Hope everyone that was ailing is feeling better today. Seems like a lot of us have had a rough week. Today is an errand day for me since I need to get some groceries and fill up the car. Also need to do some laundry and clean up a bit.
Hope everyone has a great day!

head so clogged today it feels like ten pounds manure in a five pound bag. Cleaner is here so glad you get up early. Got laundry started and dog bathed with his med shampoo and meds into me. Hope this gets better as we have friends we have not seen in quite a while coming for dinner. Glad I did the scalloped potatoes and glazed carrots yesterday. Only have to heat the ham and rolls and reheat veggies.

Thanks for the start, Liz. I did a little shopping this morning (grocery and otherwise) so I didn't have a chance to jump on earlier. We all got a good night's sleep last night, thankfully. What is on your agenda for the day? I hope you have gotten lots of R&R while you have been off.
I'm glad the seafood place was good, Kathy. Will you be going back, even when the company isn't footing the bill? How was the grocery store?
Linda, I hate that you are having so many allergy-like symptoms right now. Is it normal for you this time of year? Enjoy your dinner with friends and it's good that you have things done ahead of time with the way you are feeling. Thanks for the fooducate link. I bookmarked it for later use. I looked up the pizza we plan to have for New Year's and it is rated a "D" so not exactly a healthy way to start 2017. In fact, most processed foods were in the "C" and "D" range.
Chele, speaking of feeling, how are you? I hope things are starting to improve for you.
Becky, it sounded like the knee hurt worse than the back yesterday. How are you doing today?
I started out pretty early going to Joann Crafts for yarn (on sale) and interfacing then moved on to Publix for regular grocery shopping and a few special things for NYE. I found a pretty seafoam green yarn on sale at Joann so I got enough to make an afghan for my friend who is hosting the GF get together in mid-January and has a Valentine's Day birthday. She always sends me flowers on my birthday, so I wanted to do something special for her and I hope this will be it. We have lots of wind and dropping temperatures so I hope to stay inside as much as possible.
Happy Thursday, Chickadees.

Wow, you're busy today.
Dec sucks for my head. I have gotten to hate it. I thought it was juniper pollen which has been high last two years. Neurologist says sinus is mad because it is a migraine! So I guess with low pollen, but the Brien cloud of pollution that does not rise with convection on cool days or cloudy ones, that it is triggered by that and pollution. Lucky this year it didn't start until halfway through the month.
i used to get through finals, essay grading and report cards for semester when I worked. Being in a room five times a day with large group of grumpy teens , many who are getting colds and flu is not fun!

Karen, glad you got a good night's sleep for once. We went to Bonefish Grill and would go back. We all got grilled seafood and it was excellent. The grocery store was almost peaceful today with hardly a student in sight, lol. I'm sure your friend will appreciate the afghan.
Linda, thanks for the links on fooducate and the Skinny Taste recipe. That looks really good. Sorry you're having problems with allergies and headaches. We've had such warm weather that I'm surprised so many people have colds right now. I guess people bring them down from up north this time of year.
Chele, hope you're improving by now.

Liz,Thanks for the start.I haven't tried ice yet for my knee.I bought a copper fit knee sleeve and it's done some better today.I wore it on my walk and it did pretty well.My back hurts some but not as much as it did.
Linda,I hope you are feeling better.Enjoy your dinner with friends tonight.
Karen,I'm glad you all were able to sleep well last night.I do seem to have more trouble with my knee than the back right now although the back still hurts but not as bad.The right knee has arthritis in it but this pain is a little below my knee about the middle of my shin.I'm glad you were able to do shopping today.Speaking of allergies, cedar was at it's highest count ever today.I'm not allergic to cedar but there are a lot of people are really suffering from it.
Kathy,I saw someone posting about Bonefish Grill and they liked it too.
Chele,I hope you feel better soon.
