CJ- little by little it will all get done. Believe me, I know how overwhelming it is to get a house straightened out. Yes, Ruth had a great idea, too bad we could not all get together to help. I do hope that you can get back to quilt layouts soon.
Ruth, how did your “house stuff” go? I know you are making preparations for the possible time when Dh has his procedure. I hope that is working out for you and your are getting done what you must. Do you think you will be able to crochet this evening?
Worked this am…also got a walk in and some yard work. I have a tree that badly needs pruning as it makes it hard to see pulling out of the driveway. I thinned it out, and need to do some more, but today was a good start. Dh used to do this, and I did not want to thin it out until I was sure that there were no bird nests in it. My fabric will be arriving tomorrow instead , so I guess tonight I will embroider. The extraction site seems to be doing well, guess I miss the tooth sort of (its toward the back so it is not terribly noticeable) but I do not miss the discomfort of a tooth that was ready to come out.

Hello - Hope you are both doing well and having good weather. It was cold and rainy here this afternoon, but I think the weekend is suppoed to be milder. The only crafting I've done is looking at a few pictures on Facebook and taking a picture of my last two quilt tops. I hope to post those for you soon. I probably won't get any quilting done for the weekend and most of the next week since things will be busy for me. Hope you get to do some crafting and that you have a good weekend

CJ, it sounds like you have a time limit for the things you need to get done in the house. That always makes things harder.I do hope you will be able to get all this completed soon so that you can get back to your quilting.
Looks like you both are busy today. I hope you can enjoy some time doing things you like to do
I wrote a post last evening on my other laptop but all of a sudden it was gone and now I can't even remember what I said in it.I did get some crocheting done. I'm still making hats. Someone on FB asked if anyone had a pattern she could use to make bags to donate to her local social services for children being removed from their home to pack their belongings in.I found that there is an organization that makes "my Stuff" bags and fills them with necessities and items of comfort. they take homemade items...blankets, stuffed toys, clothing, etc so I'm thinking about making and donating but have to decide if that's realistic for me to do being that I don't get near the post office very often at all. I guess even a once a year thing would help some so I have to decide. I'd like to make blankets (some of which I already have done) and baby sweaters. Maybe those lovies...blanket and stuffed animals in one item.

Hello - Hope you are having a good day and nice weather. It was foggy here this morning and just damp and cloudy today, but it is milder. Ruth - I hope you can can decide on something to make and donate, I'm sure it will be appreciated no matter what it is. Ginny - Hope you are having a good weekend. It was another busy morning for me, but I'm relaxing this afternoon. I really prefer to do my quilting projects in the morning and since the mornings will be busy for awhile that's why I probably won't be working on anything. I would like to finish the quilt tops for the A Quilting Life quilt along and the Sew With Me quilt along once the last block pattern comes out in the next few weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to. Take care

Good evening
Gee, CJ you sound awfully busy and as though you have some deadline to meet…hang in there and nip away at it little by little. I remember you doing some major decluttering about 2 years ago, and know you can focus well to get done what needs to be done. The lovely thing about facebook and crafting web sites is that we can keep our head in the game of crafting even when it seems impossible to get some crafting done. Keep your inspiration up and I hope that this phase of being so busy passes quickly. Like you, I have cool and damp weather, but it’s a bit warmer than it had been. Guess we need to enjoy the warmer days even if they are a bit rainy….at least no rain or snow.
Ruth, golly I wonder if there is some organization (a local hospital, childrens clinic, church group) that might be able to provide you with an idea for your creations. Sorry that the post vaporized into cyber land…not like this not happened to me before!! Glad you are getting some crocheting time in. Were you able to find a pattern for “my stuff” bags?
Ah, Saturday . Yesterday I worked way too much and then had rehearsal at church. I did sleep well last night (I really needed to !!!) and got up rather slowly. Got most of my housework done. Dd stayed home again, she has a bad cold and we are trying to avoid me from getting it. I did miss seeing her and her children. I did run a quick errand this am (including 2 Christmas gifts) and a quick run into the grocery store. Also got a tiny bit of cleanup outside, and I hope to get all my end of fall cleanup done by next weekend. Homes are a lot of work to maintain.
Think I might cut the leaves and stems for the tulips….and call it quits tonight for crafting with that.

Thought that maybe Ruth might have checked in last night…
CJ and Ruth, hope that you both slept well. Here it’s supposed to rain all day…which is ok with me as I have no plans to do anything outside. I will check back in later on to say hello’

Hello Ginny - We've had damp, rainy days here this weekend too - and lots of fog. Sounds like you have been busy, hope you got things done that you wanted to this weekend. Ruth - Hope you are enjoying some crocheting. Still no quilting for me, but I know it will still be there when I get back to it. I was trying to put my pictures onto PostImages, but the website won't open. I'll have to try again this week. Take care and have a good day

Good afternoon, Friends
CJ, I'm sorry again that you won't be able to get to quilting. It does, indeed, sound like you have a deadline and I'm sure you'll meet that.I can imagine how I'd feel if I had to give up crocheting for any period of time.I'm sorry also that you can get the photo site to work. I love seeing the pictures of your projects.
Ginny, I'm glad to hear that you got a good night's sleep and hope it will continue.
I've been sitting here trying for figure out what stitch I was using for a hat that has been in my wip basket for some time now. It's such a pretty stitch and I did finally figure it out so I can finish that hat. There are several projects I want to get to. It's a long list.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

I am not entirely sure where this weekend went to…because here it is Sunday evening and I know what tomorrow means.
CJ- I know you and Ruth go back with me to the days in which I was really only able to think about my next craft endeavor, I know how that feels, sort of empty, because your heart is thinking about making something pretty and instead you are working hard on other projects at home. And days like that, it’s even more frustrating when a site like post images is not cooperating when all you want to do is quickly share some pictures. All in good time- we do hope that your household duties go smoothly and in a timely manner. This weekend continues to rain…be thankful we do not live in Vermont or an area like that, as I hear they are getting snow.
Ruth, well that is great that you were able to figure out what stitch you used for the hat in your WIP basket. Hope that finishing the hat goes quickly and your can move onto another project on your list.
I did get the leaves and stems cut, partially sewn and pressed for the baby quilt. I decided to put that aside and will return to it Tuesday or Wednesday.
See you both in the morning.
