I was just reading about Stonehenge on Love Exploring. On the winter solstice at sundown lines up with the openings in the stones.

It is 50 and clouding up for an expected heavy rainstorm overnight. There might also be high winds. Got out to breakfast this morning with my friend which was nice. Doing wash this afternoon in case we lose power overnight.

Well, I caught what my husband has. I'm a little surprised because often I don't catch what he gets. It is mostly a cough and "feeling" some of my upper respiratory system. He bought great cough syrup that takes care of the cough. That's good because otherwise I would not have gotten any sleep last night. I just have the cough, but he has the cough and feels zonked. He is in the recliner downstairs watching TV now and I'm working on getting myself to clean up the kitchen and do some paperwork.

It is 44, sunny and clear out. Went to the small grocery store near me to do what grocery shopping I needed to do instead of going to the big store. Going to the small store, takes less time and walking and you can park by the door. I seem to feel a bit better today, but my husband is still zonked. We are going to test him again for covid later.

It is 43, sunny and clear out. Got to CVS to get more cough syrup this morning. Will bake cookies for my husband this afternoon, did paperwork this morning. Husband is feeling a bit better but still zonked. I'm doing okay, at least I'm not getting worse.

bbbearsmom, Thanks again for doing this. Knowing that there was an end in sight really helped me get through the long nights. I would check in here when the darkness just got too much. I'm very excited to see the sunset times now.

It is 39, sunny and clear here. We are both under the weather but no worse. I am dragging backside more than usual. Nothing much planned for today. Did some housework this morning and have been reading.

It was in the 20's when I got up. It is 40 now and a little overcast. Not up to much today. We are watching a Berlin Philharmonic concert right now, a Beethoven piece and a Brahms piece. Still laying low with the chest congestion. Glad we didn't have any big plans we had to cancel.
