Happy New Year to all!!!
We’re having a quiet NYE (except for all the fireworks going off in the neighborhood) cuddling with the cats and eating leftovers from the fridge. Tomorrow, the DDs and family are coming for dinner and DH’s t-shirt gifts for everyone, postponed several times due to illnesses. We’ll facetime DD3 and family, too.
Don’t forget to eat your blackeyed peas (good luck and health) and cabbage (wealth) tomorrow!

Happy New Year, friends! Thanks for the tip on black eyed peas and cabbage tomorrow, Pam. I shall do both.
We arrived home at 1 am this morning and were up till about 2 am. We had a slow day today unpacking, laundry, etc. I put away all the summer stuff in bins in the basement. Won't need the for a while! No grocery shopping yet. We had takeout Lobster Mac and Cheese with salads. Love those dinners. My stomach recovered, thank the Good Lord!
DD and her kiddos missed their connecting flight in Dallas due to an hour delay in their originating flight and had to stay overnight at an airport hotel. I felt badly. They arrived home to an issue with their hot water heater. Not a fun end of a trip. But, we all had fun and these things are all part of learning and traveling.
We will be in bed EARLY tonight. Watching a country NYE thing on TV for a bit.
Have a good one all and a great NY Day tomorrow. I am leaving the Christmas tree up a bit since we want to enjoy it after being away. I love the lights and it's artificial so no worries about dry needles.
Glad you are all well. The tee shirt tradition sounds like fun, Pam. Ann, we were overjoyed to get our Miss Daisy back!! She has been snuggling big time all day and following me all around.
