Hi Ann, I completely understand the need to save your sight for reading and other fun activities. Don't blame you one bit. We will be here and I know this has been an ongoing tough situation for you. Hugs.
It's a beautiful sunny day here. Cold but sunny. I am hearing that the big snow expected will mostly be rain - at least down here on the Cape. Feeling relieved about that.
Our cleaning lady Denise is here today and for that, I am very grateful. Daisy was so happy to see her!
Work has been steady and DH has gone for a yearly inspection on his truck. He really could use a new truck but seems in no hurry to get one and this one is well maintained but getting old with lots of mileage. But, he doesn't go far in it - trips to the dump and around town. Vehicles are ridiculously expensive these days. He likes the Chevy Silverados.
Nothing on tap for the weekend. DS and family had planned to come up, but the earlier weather reports changed those plans. Next weekend I have 3-4 friends coming for the day and possibly and overnight. Should be fun.
All for now. Have a fabulous day all! It's a NEW year!

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
TGIF!! We have a cold day on tap here. DH and I both went for our annual Wellness Exams this morning. Both got a clean bill of health. I went to meet my VBF for lunch afterward. We had a great visit and lunch. DH also got a good eye exam yesterday afternoon. Moving right along .....
I have come back home and put away all my Christmas coffee mugs and replaced my every day mugs, emptied the dishwasher, and cleared the memory in my printer. I may stretch out for a few minutes. My PCP told me I can discontinue the Meclizine tabs for now or at least decrease them a lot, as something is making me extremely sleepy all of the time, and he thinks that could be it.
My other desire this afternoon is a trip to Costco, but if not today, then maybe tomorrow. We have lunch plans Sunday afternoon with our your Retrouvaille couple which I am looking forward to as we haven't seen them in TOO long!!
BBL. Make a great day!

Happy Friday!
After a miserable, sleepless night with countless trips to the bathroom, we headed to BTR at 6:45. By 9:45, I was finished and we were headed toward home, with stops for coffee, groceries and lunch. I had no remarkable issues and since that makes 3 colonoscopies with no issues + no family history, the doctor said I don’t have to have another when I’m 80. Great news!
It is a cold, rainy, miserable day here, so my plan is to cuddle up with a blanket and a cup of tea and read. I’m fairly certain there will be a nap involved, too, but I don’t want to sleep long as I want a full 8 hours tonight. Dinner will be crab and crawfish patties from the freezer, loaded baked potatoes, beets and green beans.
Ann- Of course we understand and will gladly welcome you whenever you can make it.
Sue- I know you and DH enjoyed spending time with Rick’s kids. I’m so glad you are feeling better. Congrats on the wellness exams!
Judy - I know you must be disappointed DS and family couldn't make it, but better than worrying about them getting stuck on a highway.
Deb- Waving and hope you make it back to the cafe!

Hey again,
Sue, so glad you are feeling yourself again. I agree on the meds. I am sure they do make you sleepy. My brother took that drug for a long time. Worked like a charm but I think it did make him drowsy at times. Glad you will reunited with your Retrouvaille couple and have other outings as well.
Pam, WOOT WOOT! No more colonoscopies for a long time! I think I am due, but haven't received a nudge yet. I have to have them every five years due to polyps. My DH is also all done with them. Hope you have lots of R&R today and a restful night.
I need to get out and stroll a bit because I am starting to nod off at my laptop today! Long day. Fresh air is needed.
Denise, our cleaning lady, was here today and everything is spotless. I truly love her. She makes our lives so much better. I tell her all the time.
My dr. scheduled a CT chest Scan with dye contract for next Wednesday. She wanted it asap to analyze any heart changes. She wasn't thrilled with the abnormal results of the stress test. I'll keep you posted but hoping that the stress test was faulty - it is a possibility, she said.
TTFN and have a great night.

Hi friends. I hope I can get this post to work. This Wi-Fi keeps freezing or something. Been a stressful time. Lots going on. I was going to have my granddaughter help me get on my phone but 2 of our neighbor guys got hacked or something so since I have our bank app on my phone that was a no go. Then all public Wi-Fi is unsecured so that was a no go. But now we are all set up. I wish I understood Wi-Fi stuff. Oh Ann, I understand but I’ve missed you. I will look for you. I’ve been walking on my treadmill. You encourage me. I hope Benjamin & Carl are well. Judy, it sounds like you are very busy. I hope your holidays were special. Daisy’s picture is beautiful. I hope your family is well. Sue, I hope your dizziness is better. I hope you enjoyed your holidays. Are you back at school? I hope your dh is well. Pam, sounds like your weather is yucky. We woke to a little over 3 inches of snow yesterday. More to come this weekend. I’m sorry about your wrist. I hope you had a nice holiday season. I hope your family is well.
Lots of sickness around here so we don’t go much. I’ve really missed you all. I hate winter cuz everyone is stuck inside. See you tomorrow. Please take care. Hugs & sweet dreams.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday! I am looking forward to going to Costco today for a short list of necessities. DH has offered to go with me in the early afternoon. I feel so much better, but still and all I got stuck somewhere a couple of times in the recent past and it was very upsetting, so he offered to go with me for "back up". I know that will be temporary and soon I'll be feeling stable enough to go alone. I did my Meijer shopping last week alone and it worked well. He got my remote fixed and now I have that for "help".
I found several packages of meat in the refrigerator that I had thawed, so they are being grilled in the George Foreman for suppers this week. There are also more leftovers waiting in the wings. I love planning ahead and having things to use as base for a meal. Today it is pork chops and chicken breasts.
I tested my car remote and it works like a champ!! So nice to have that back. I don't know exactly when it quit working or at least quit working all the time. It does seem like when I was working part-time, it didn't always start from the building -but now it does. Getting into a warm car is one of life's little pleasures for me. :-)
I am looking forward to going back to school this week. I don't plan to overdo so I will keep it simple. Remember I work with 3 & 4 year olds, so their needs are simple. I don't have a playground shift (thank goodness) so I am indoors all day. I do have one lunch table to supervise, but that is a sit down job. I am not taking any chances at all. BBL. Make a great day!!

I won’t be posting anymore. We have a new great granddaughter (our first) who was born early who is very sick. It’s hard for me to focus when I’m stressed. I want to thank you for being so welcoming. I hope I didn’t interfere. I wish you & your families well. Take care.

We will miss you Debbie! You can always come back even to say hi! It sounds like life is very worrisome for you now. I will hold you and your granddaughter and family in my prayers. Hugs.
Sue I’m glad you were out and about today! Progress and things are looking up! I’m so happy for you.
Ann, take care of those peepers. Enjoy the Kindle.
Waving to Pam.
I am back from errands. Daisy goes with me and she gets a special trip into Petco! I was in TJs, Ulta and Staples for various things. New AllClad nonstick pan in TJs at a bargain!
Have a restful night all.
