Hello all!
I’m all jammified and ready to read a bit before bed, so stopped in to see how things are going. I caught up on yesterday’s posts. Since no one has posted today, I thought I’d set up a weekend edition.
I slept 10 hours last night, catching up from the sleepless night before. Today, Deb and I walked, then I did 3 loads of laundry and a few small chores.
I decided to go to Mass this afternoon and sit in the congregation. I get very perturbed at the amount of unnecessary talking that goes on in the choir loft and enjoyed being able to focus. I also enjoyed being able to receive both host and wine, as we only receive the host in the choir. Tomorrow I will go and do my choir duty as usual. DH made chicken cutlets for dinner, which we enjoyed with sides of potatoes and sautéed cabbage. Afterwards we watched Going My Way on TCM and enjoyed it very much.
Debbie- So sorry to hear your great granddaughter is having problems! My only grandson was a preemie and spent his first month in NICU and months on oxygen after he finally came home, but is now a strapping 18 year old. I’m praying all goes well for your little one.
Sue - I had the same problem with my remote key, but a new battery solved the problem. You are wise to plan meals ahead. It makes it so much easier to stay OP, I think.
Judy - I hope the stress test was off and that all is well, but I’m glad your doctor is not taking chances.
Ann - Waving and wishing you peace of mind.

Hi Pam- thanks for getting us going. I’m glad you are doing well and walking and enjoying other activities. I kept thinking it was your ankle you hurt in the fall but now remembering your wrist! Sheesh!
We are having a very rainy day but about 30 miles up the road, they have 6-10 inches of snow! I’m glad we are near the ocean. As pretty as snow is, I am happier with rain.
We’ve been watching the pitiful Patriots with their last game. Had salads for lunch with avocado and turkey breast slices. My treat is a small bag of chips!
Thank you for your support in the messages everyone. I had another 11 pm text and email last night questioning something from last October! Relentless. No respect for personal time. I appreciate your thoughts and advice. I have started making responses very brief and factual. One sentence.
Have a great afternoon all. Pasta and sausage leftovers for dinner for us! TTFN

Judy - You have my sympathy. Unless you can put in for time worked after hours, I would not be responding to any texts or emails outside of work hours. Relentless indeed!
I have had a quiet Sunday other than Mass this morning and a walk with Debbie in late afternoon. I did a little straighten up of a junk spot and cooked meatloaf, potatoes and carrots for dinner with just a little help from DH. The rest of the day was spent reading, listening to homilies from my favorite, now deceased priest, and playing games. DH spent a couple of hours with Abby at her 4-H shooting class, which they both enjoyed very much. He said Abby was very nervous at first, but he was able to calm her down and before the 2 hour class was over, she was able to hit the bullseye a couple of times.
DH has gone to bed and I will follow shortly after reading a bit. Waving to all!
