Good morning friends,
It's a cold day with a dusting of pretty snow here on the Cape. I think inland they had 8-10 inches of snow or more. It's pretty but it's also work clearing, etc. I am not a fan of driving on snowy roads. Call me Chicken Little. :-)
Nothing on the agenda today but a TOPS zoom and then work. I am reading a new book recommended called The Thread. It's a bit of fantasy but interesting concept - scary one. Everyone in the world receives a box with a thread - the length of the thread determines the span of one's life. We'll see how it goes!
I am down 2.5 lbs from last week. We've really been watching it - I truly am working to make this year my year. With TOPS, WW and all of your support, I can do it. I know I can.
Pam, thanks for your sympathy with whatshisname. It's so hard to ignore email from a boss once you see it. My email pings. Ugh. I will try though. My DH says I owe him nothing after hours.
Have a great day.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Monday! I slept well last night which is most welcome. I skipped the Meclizine for several nights, then took only one at suppertime last night. Consequently I slept very well and woke at the usual time this morning. I would like to establish a better schedule in the coming days.
I am back to school today and look forward to it. It is cold here (hovering right around freezing) but no wind.
Judy ~ I have to agree with your DH. After hours, you don't owe your boss anything.
BBL. Make a great day!

Hi Sue,
Have a great day back at school. I am sure the little ones and your colleagues missed you! It's good to be busy and have something to look forward to each day. Glad you are feeling well rested and ready to go.
It is very cold here. I have my nice new winter sweater (Talbot's big sale) on and loving it.
I'll check in later...

Hello friends!
I had OT this morning and then did the grocery shopping. I was so chilled when I got home, I crawled into my chair with a cup of coffee and a heavy blanket. Kind of crazy, since the temp was only in the 50’s, but very damp and windy.
We’re anticipating heavy storms this afternoon and they have closed the schools early. It seems they close schools at the slightest chance of bad weather, even if it’s only a thunderstorm. It’s raining pretty hard now, but that’s it.
Enchiladas and taco soup are what’s for dinner. DH makes a great cheese enchilada and DD1 shared the soup, made by her DMIL.
Judy - Kudos on getting right back OP after the holidays! It’s really paying off for you!
Sue - Congrats on getting back to work. I imagine they were excited to see you.

Pam, not sure if I ever mentioned it, but enchiladas are my all time favorite food. I especially love plain old cheese enchiladas. Would love to know how your DH makes his. I make them but mostly have them at restaurants. Thanks for the encouragement on my baby steps in WL.
Funny that they cancel school with t-storms. :-) Of course, you do get more tornadoes, etc. there must be good reason to have early dismissals, etc. Our campus was opened today, but the sidewalks and streets are treacherous still. Our staff stayed home though it is a bright and shining day.
My cardiologist called today. She wants me to have a more extensive test than just the dye CT Scan of the heart. Not sure what yet, but I am being rescheuduled. She asked for it as soon as I can get in. I'll keep you posted.
TTFN...tonight is the "unstuffed pepper soup" in the crockpot. I'll make rice now to add to it.
