Good morning friends,
I slept very late today! Guess I was making up for lost time. Had about 10 hours of sleep! Can't remember when that happened before. It's a somewhat gloomy day but no rain yet. DH tells me there is another very big storm headed this way for tomorrow and local flooding with high winds here, too. Weird weather. Snow and cold and then 50 degrees and torrential rains. I saw Louisiana was getting hit with tornadoes and storms. Hope all is well, Pam. The whole country seems in weather turmoil the past few days.
I hope everyone has a good day. I was up a lb today - can't even figure it out but it happens. I stayed under my pts for the day but my motto is "this changes nothing!"
Have a great day all.

Hi cafe pals,
Our dear Ann took a bad fall on ice covered snow and is flat on her back. She wanted me to let all of you know. Sending along our thoughts, prayers and good vibes for her healing. Take care, Ann, if you see this. Hugs.

Good evening!
I had a busy day today. I was up and out early for a wash and style appointment, hurried home for a breakfast of blueberry/pecan OO and then headed toBTR with DH for a movie date. We went to see The Boys in the Boat and both enjoyed it very much. From there we headed back to the west side of the river to a nice furniture store and purchased new leather recliners. They will be delivered on Friday and will haul off the old ones.
We stopped at Popeyes for a late lunch. It brought back memories, as I used to work in that town years ago and had lunch there the day after WW weigh in most weeks. We even passed my old office which is now a church! I had just enough time when we got home to review materials for our RCIA session which I led.
We had scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes for supper, which was a bit much after a fried chicken lunch, but I enjoyed it and since DH is still doing pretty much all of the cooking, Iām not arguing over menus.I hope to walk with Deb tomorrow. Hopefully, the wind will die down and the temp will rise some. It seemed very cold today at 54 with the wind gusts up to 20 mph.
Time to read a bit then get some sleep. OT in the morning.
