Hi Everyone,
It’s a blustery Wednesday! We had a lot of wind – gusty over 50 mph and rain overnight but did not lose power – for that I am deeply grateful. I think a lot of the country was stormy yesterday!
DH has gone up for a doctor visit. He is exploring finding a new cardiologist as he is tired of the long long drive – 2 hours each way. He met with a new cardiologist for a consult yesterday and this doctor is affiliated with Beth Israel Hospital – a very good one in our area. He liked him very much and he’s thinking of switching. I worry since he has such excellent care, but it’s his decision and he really liked the new guy a lot. I am sure it will work out well. Who knows - maybe I will switch too if he really likes the new cardiologist. I am in the same boat but afraid to leave my wonderful care. They switched my appt that had been scheduled for today. She wants more extensive testing at a different hospital. Waiting for the appt.
Pam, love that you revisited your old haunt – Popeyes! My former boss is from Alabama and he always raved about Popeyes. We have them now but I haven’t tried them yet. And, hooray on the two new recliners. I am sure they are beautiful. We love our recliners and I find that they need replacing more often than some furniture but we couldn’t live without them! I have a leather one upstairs and the new Lazyboys large and small sofa plus another swivel rocker smaller recliner in the family room. They are so much more attractive than they used to be, don’t you think? I remember when I thought of them as “old people” furniture. Now we adore them! Ha ha. We are those old people. Easy to get in and out of and good for the legs and feet. Enough on recliners. I ramble on…and on.
I want to see The Boys in the Boat. It was one of my all time favorite books and such an inspirational story. Glad you liked it.
Waving to everyone – Sue, Ann and Debbie if you are here. Ann, thinking of you and hoping the pain is lessening. Hugs.
Xoxo
