Thanks for the start, Chele. I hope you have sunshine today like we do. We also set a record for rainfall yesterday: 2.37". And more coming tomorrow. How much snow are they predicting for your area? When did your wind finally die down? I'm not looking forward to the frigid weather next week either. We got visited by robins this morning, which is unusual for this time of year. It gave me hope that spring isn't too far away.
Kathy, I was ok FSU ended up where they did after the snub, but I still think they should have been ahead of Alabama. Way too early indeed on playoff predictions. So much could happen even between now and the start of fall practice. What did you think about Nick Saban announcing his retirement? PT and I agreed that the Tide probably won't make the playoffs being first year under a new coach. How much rain did you end up with? Where did your UPS package get delayed?
Have the knee shots still not kicked in, Linda? Glad you were at least close to home when the knee flared up yesterday. How much rain did you get today? I had a feeling there would be a Covid spike, given all the other viruses going around.
No word from Liz since yesterday afternoon. They were waiting for the insurance company to show up and the HOA was hiring a crane for tree removal. They had less damage than some of their neighbors, not that any damage is good. She is working in the city today and tomorrow, so I doubt I'll hear anything until the weekend.
Good day at Osteo and a good PT session. The knee was a little cranky after class on Monday and he found the spot immediately. Dry needling helped. The gym was still a bit crowded from the resolution crowd and this one guy was camped out on the leg press machine for the entire time I was there, so I didn't get to use that one at all. I'm sure I wasn't the only person miffed at him. I did a Earth Fare trip before Osteo, when it's usually less crowded. This will be a soup and chili making weekend, and I'm thinking about making a spaghetti pie as well. They will all be good for the impending cold weather.

Karen, I agree on Alabama, but I was glad to see that they at least put Georgia ahead of them. That had to tick them off pretty good since they beat Georgia. I was surprised at Saban's retirement, but I don't follow the coaching rumors that much. I heard that he will have input on his replacement. Someone mentioned that Jimbo was available, lol. I would guess a lot of players will choose to leave, so you're probably right about them not making the playoffs the first year. I don't think we got a huge amount of rain, so I'm guessing 2 to 3 inches total. The wind was more of a concern. We're getting a warm front from the south and then a cold front from the north, so they're expecting more severe weather. They said it won't be as strong as the last one though.
I think Liz lives in a townhouse, so hopefully she's not responsible for damage to the exterior. It will probably still be a pain to get the window replaced. I hope they didn't have damage on the inside too. Good to hear the HOA was already making progress with getting the trees removed. Glad you had good Osteo and PT sessions despite the guy hogging the machine. Hopefully, he's one of the resolution people that will disappear.
Linda, I guess Covid is spiking with all the other viruses right now. It's hard to get any real data anymore. Did you hear the Florida surgeon general wants to halt administering the Covid shots?
Chele, how was your Thursday?

knee was very unhappy today as well as lower digestion. Stayed in pjs all day. Played fetch with Minni, read on the sofa with her next to me, worked on a puzzle. Did manage to wash towels and make lasagne soup.
The guy in Florida is a flaming idiot.nothing new.
My city tracks virus in wastewater, with different testing spots by city area. Some have high numbers like the dorm areas for ASU. mine is very low and one that has high number of vaccinated People. Since everyone uses the bathroom, it gives a good picture and it sure is rising.anyone can check the dashboard with weekly reports
almost no rain but wind so bad it howled around thehouse corners all day and sounded like a blizzard.
