Thanks for the start, Chele. How's your weather and road conditions? Hope they are better than ours. Did you just get the little bit of snow they were predicting? Dale has already canceled his trail run tomorrow because our temps aren't supposed to get even close to freezing until Thursday. At this point, I'm hoping I'll be able to get to Osteo this week, but no guarantees. The birds are hitting the feeder hard today and there is no way it can be refilled, so they better take it a little easier.
Kathy, is "Northwestern FL" the panhandle or the part adjacent to GA? Will there potentially be iguanas dropping out of trees or do they live further south? I hope it won't get too cold for you. Our low temperature tomorrow morning is supposed to be 3°, which I think is a degree colder than the coldest it's been since we lived here. They even closed the airport yesterday evening due to the weather and I don't think it's reopening until Noon today. KVL recorded 10" of snow. What kind of yoga does Adriene do on YouTube? Is it more gentle or power yoga? I did my own thing yesterday similar to iTone and it was difficult because I had to work the timer and figure out the exercises. I did get some intensity minutes though. I did find something on YouTube called Body Project that looks promising that I will try later this week. Are you tracking intensity minutes on your Garmin? Do you have it set to track flights of stairs, too? I turned the latter off on mine because I could be sitting motionless and it would claim I had climbed one or two flights of stairs. It doesn't seem to provide any additional metrics for that function, so it was just annoying.
What's the cut off age for colonoscopies, Linda? I'm due for my next one in 4 years and I'll be almost 76 then. I've done the test by mail for the last couple of years and have been negative. DF did have colon cancer but his was from all the red meat and processed meat he ate, something that has not passed my lips in over 30 years. But I wonder if family history extends the cutoff. Did Minni let you go out to deadhead flowers unsupervised yesterday? 70° sounds amazing. We have been sitting at 18 for the past few hours. I hope the air purifiers will help the allergies. I know ours has. Thanks for the recipe. It looks like it would be easy to make it vegan by leaving out the egg.
We probably only have 2-3" of snow, but it started raining for a while yesterday afternoon, so we have ice underneath. We were expecting deliveries today from FedEx, USPS, and UPS, but don't expect to get any of them to show up and possibly not tomorrow either. Emergency Management sent out a message telling everyone to stay off the roads. They are having so much trouble keeping the primary roads clear that they aren't even thinking about the secondary roads yet. I plan to do a little cooking today and have a load of clothes in the dryer. Happy Tuesday!

Karen, I don’t blame Dale for cancelling. Iggy put out suet nuggets and black oil sunflower seeds this weekend and they are almost gone. We’ve had starlings and squirrels stealing them.
Kathy, the Browns didn’t fare so well either. It was embarrassing. 🙈 I actually went outdoors today down the driveway to get the mail and I started the car to make sure it would still start. I had on coat, hat, mittens to go 50 steps down the drive.
Linda, thanks for the link. I hope you got your errands done.
We made it to 10° at 1 pm with a real feel of -1°. We got about a ¼ inch snow, just enough to make it slippery on the roads. We’re not supposed to get over freezing until Monday. We have to venture out tomorrow to the ophthalmologist, so we will do our other errands as well.

Chele, thanks for the start. How much snow did you get? It's been pouring here, but we're in a crazy warm front and will be in the upper 70s. We've been getting dense fog thanks to the humidity and warm temps.
Karen, the Panhandle and Northwestern FL are usually used to mean the same area. It's from the northwestern edge of the state to about Tallahassee. I think the Apalachicola River is the actual dividing line. It borders Alabama and Georgia. The iguanas are in South FL, thank goodness! The forecast last night showed us getting into the 40s, so not too bad. First we have to get through this warm front. Sounds like a good day for you to stay in. Hope it thaws out soon. I never did get my Amazon order that was delayed due to the weather, so I finally cancelled it and reordered everything.
I didn't think my Garmin tracked stairs, but I'll have to double check that. I haven't been tracking intensity minutes. I think I need to make another pass through the set up options now that I have it basically working. I'll have to look at the watch face you mentioned. I downloaded a pretty one that shows the battery, pulse, steps and date/time which was the data I wanted. They had a code on the day I got it, so it was free.
I'm not an expert on types of yoga, but I think a lot of what Adriene does is Vinyasa yoga. The title of this series is Flow. In the intro video on the series she said it would be a mix and not just Vinyasa. Every once in a while she throws in a gentler class. I would rate most of the sessions as medium hard to hard for my fitness and flexibility level. I modify some of it and do what I can! I wonder how similar iTone is to what Jazzercise has on demand. Do they use any special equipment? Jazzercise uses hand weights and bands in a lot of the classes and they have many different formats. It's pretty reasonable.
DM somehow pulled a hamstring muscle. It was really bothering her, so DS took her to an orthopedic place and they took x-rays. The doctor came in with a big grin on her face and said the entire medical staff had gathered around looking at her x-rays because they were amazing for someone in their 90s. No signs of osteo or any fractures, so they gave her some PT exercises to do and advised her to take Advil for a few days. She eats a lot of fresh veggies and fruit, dairy, lean meats and seafood. She also eats processed lunch meats and some red meat. Makes me wonder though how much is genetics and how much we can control. On the muscle pull, I asked her if she had climbed over the sofa which I found out she sometimes does to clean behind an end table, but she wouldn't fess up to it!
Linda, glad you got good news on the test. Hope you have a relaxing day for a change.

Chele, your post didn't show up until after I posted. I was surprised the Bucs did so well. I think everyone was expecting more of a down year after Brady left. Your temps made me cold just reading it! Hope it's not too bad on the roads for you tomorrow.

I thought either 75 or 76 was cut off for colonoscopy. Bob will have to do another because he grows polyps and they are removed every other test (every five years because grandfather on Dad's side and his mother died of it). But he fainted hours later when he stood up because of the drug the use now to wake you up and move you out faster. It stays in okd people's systems. He broke his ankle. My grandfather on mom's side , but until last two of six nothing showed up , the last two had diverticuli but not inflamed.
Really glad I moved here back in 1981 every time I see a weather map. 70 today and warmer in sun, heading for 77 later this week. That will make the visiting golfers happier.
our hummers hit the feeder. Hanging under the patio eaves hard last two weeks.
changed DZh’sDH’s bed with all the blankets and flannel sheets which got washed and put away, walked dog short way as she seemed desperate every time I got to garage door in spite of doing her stuff at seven.
got all those errands except one done….paid a bill at bank and cursed quietly under my breath because I forgot it was closed yesterday and got there near lunch time, waited forever while businesses brought in cash or got cash.
then it was return library books, buy card for grand nephew turning 1 this week, buy card for niece whose old boxer that was not sick, suddenly died, get groceries, drop off Good Will stuff, and did not have energy to address envelopes and mail them.
Rotisserie chicken is disassembled , dark stuff to mix with kibbles the rest for a recipe called chicken cobbler in a day or two. Boy twice the price and half the size of the great Costco ones.
potatoes are cooked for making hash tonight with thawed roast from Xmas.
I am tired!
