Chele, how did it go with the ophthalmologist? How were the roads? Did you get all the errands done? How cold were you this morning? They said we would get down to 2Ā°, but we "only" got down to 7Ā° according to the app on my phone. We don't have problems with starlings at the feeder. We've had lots of other visitors today, mostly eastern Phoebes, but a few cardinals and titmouses. And always mourning doves (unless the hawks are nearby). We need to get the suet block hung up but the deck has to melt first. Dale did gingerly walk out on the deck yesterday afternoon to refill the feeder and I was watching him intently, hoping I wouldn't have to go out and help him get up if he fell. He did ok.
If I remember my yoga types, Kathy, I think Vinyasa tends to be a little more challenging because you are moving from pose to pose without a break. I think there are some crossovers between Jazzercise and iTone, since some of the Jazzercise programs now include interval training. We typically use dumbbells and sometimes kettlebells, and she throws in step every now and then. So it's not particularly equipment intensive. Did DM ever figure out (or fess up to) how she pulled a hamstring? That's hysterical about the medical staff being fascinated by her x-rays. I hope the PT exercises are helping her. It sounds like she eats pretty healthy for the most part, and genetics is only supposed to be 5 to 10% but how do we actually know? Is your Garmin doing pretty well at holding a charge? I guess Tampa Bay isn't missing Tom Brady that much. Liz's DH is an Eagles fan, so he's not happy.
Linda, you should be tired after all that running around yesterday. What a mess at the bank. How was the chicken cobbler? I hope you have a quieter day planned today.
We're up to a whopping 17Ā° right now and expecting a high of 29, but the sun is out so that seems to be melting things a bit. Emergency Management still has some of our nearby roads on their list of places you don't want to drive on, so I'm not sure if I'll be going anywhere tomorrow. We have a UPS delivery supposedly coming so if it does, I'll check with our driver to see what he thinks. His parents live about 3 miles past us, so he's very familiar with the roads here. I'm staying inside and warm as much as possible today.

I did ok until late afternoon when I tried to hurry and made the knee mad. Weather change coming in will bring rain this weekend and I swear I feel it already. Bit cloudy. But over all nice weather for a change.
Sounds like weather is still a misery by you. Glad Dale did not fall. Walking in winter is one of the things I am thrilled not to do.
The only yoga I have ever done and should a little is Hatha. Really need to do beginner Arthritis foundation Thi chi again.
Chele,I must have missed something. Eye problem again?
Doggie has finally achieved a pooh after a pee when she gets up mornings. Well, she got up at 5:30 today ā¦did her thing and went back to bed. but who can complain about not needing to walk her early..
Later I woke up super tired and sleepy. I kept falling back to sleep even after coffee, but dragged my achy self out of bed ,made bed, put away a few things for cleaning lady before I realized today is Wed. Not Thursday. Argh.
Did two loads laundry anyway and started cleaning up some clutter a day early. Fortunately other than making hash from leftover roast and potatoes I cooked yesterday soon before ambition dies and mailing two cards, not a āgotta doā day. The chicken cobbler will be tomorrow early to reheat for supper,

It was about 8Ā° when we left the house. We both had our hats and gloves with us a d we hardly ever wear hats and gloves when just running errands. We did get all our errands done. The new secondary eye drops are working so I am good for now and go back in July for checkup and the field of vision test.
Karen, our weather is the same as yours right now. Weāre at 19Ā° at 12:30pm. The main roads are fine but our road is a little slick. The city didnāt treat the side roads. Stay warm.
Kathy, no osteoporosis. Thatās fantastic. Must be all that Florida sunshine plus good genes. Iām glad she didnāt have any fractures. Iām laughing at her not saying how she pulled a muscle.
Linda, you were busy yesterday a d looks like you are same today. I hate it when I get the days mixed up. Last two times I was at opthamologist my eye pressure was too high, so I was prescribed a second eye drop. I went back today to see of it is working and it is, so no surgery. Yay!

Karen, there is usually a part of each class with a "flow" that moves from one pose to the next, so I guess that's the Vinyasa part. DM said she woke up with the hamstring hurting, so it could have just been that she slept funny. It started after the holidays, so it also could have been all the extra activity. She seemed quite a bit improved when I saw her yesterday and she said the PT exercises were helping. The Garmin is lasting several days, so that's a nice improvement over my FitBit. My cousins in Philly aren't happy about the Eagles either, but I was glad to see one of the FL teams make it to the next round. Sounds like a good plan to stay off the roads and inside in that weather.
Chele, that's great news on the eye drops working. We made it up to 79Ā° yesterday, but we're only up to 56Ā° today. We're still going back and forth on the cold front/warm front cycle. Back to the 70s tomorrow, then 50s on Saturday, 70s again on Tuesday. We'll probably never know what caused the hamstring pull, but I still have my suspicions on the sofa climbing, lol.
Linda, at least you're a little ahead for tomorrow. It's been a while since I bought a rotisserie chicken, but I remember that there wasn't much on it. They've definitely gotten smaller.

The Costco birds are big!one from Sprouts is tiny, enough for meal and dark meat cut up to encourage Minni to eat her kibble with it.
