Karen, thanks for the start. Iggy dies not wear a tracker. He wears a heart monitor and oxygen sensor when he works out, though. He hasnât worked out since he pulled a back muscle. I asked him again this morning as I have already done my workout. Iâm sure youâre glad you only had 2.5 inches of snow. We got 2 inches overnight but are expecting a little more. We have the electric shovel charged as it wonât be enough for the blower. I am happy to hear you stayed upright.
Kathy, lucky you. The carts I see are 4 milk crates high plus wheels. Impossible for me to see over. I have never been a fan of frozen broccoli or cauliflower in whatever form, but I like them fresh. Poor little iguanas.
Linda, yay, for 75°. That is a comfortable temperature. The price of appliances is outrageous and they donât last 20-25 years like they used to. Itâs all the plastic parts.

.This morning will be about putting containers of ice into fridge to put food I can save in them. It is somewhat cold but not enough and changes a lot with opening it two or three times. Have to buy ice. So we will eat a lot of freezer stuff waiting for Tuesday delivery of new fridge so that there is less to move Tuesday. But today it will be eggs! fun times. Only ones available next day at Loweâs or Home Depot are Asian names I never heard of, one starting with H at Loweâs, V at Home Depot. Local appliance store takes longer.

Linda, there is no such thing as a quick remodel these days. I guess your neighbor can take comfort in getting all of this done ahead so she should have a really good resale value when she decides to sell. Sorry about the fridge and, yes, the prices have escalated since 2020 with parts shortages and general inflation. Your fruits and veggies should be fine at 59, the milk not so much. Nothing lasts these days, so outliving isn't even a consideration. Oh no on another weather system that will probably come this way. Like you said, hopefully it will weaken by the time it gets here. If the temperatures stay above freezing, that would be an improvement though. We've had snow this morning and I'm ready for spring.
The Saban meme was on a Vols football page I'm on, Kathy. As you can imagine, that group is posting lots of Saban memes right now. He was a fan favorite in the same way that Steve Spurrier wasđ¤Ł. LOL on the falling iguanas avatar. I do hate it for the poor little reptiles though. My cousin moved from Cape Coral to the SC coast in the summer, so she'll miss those this year. WOW on 80s for you next week, but they are saying 64 for our high on Friday, which is quite unseasonal here. Our Instacart people use the same contraptions that Chele's do and they are larger and more annoying that the rolling carts that the store employees use to restock. They take up about 3/4 of the normal aisle space (not counting the human), so almost impossible to maneuver around.
Chele, I hope the electric shovel does the job. I don't think we'll get much accumulation from our system and temps are holding just above freezing. With Iggy's medical issues, the HRM and O2 sensor are a really good idea. I hope his back heals quickly. Good for you on going it alone. Are you using the Fitbit now?
I heard from Liz and she worked the past 2 days in the city because they were also expecting snow today. She's still dealing with a lot of the usual pain but has a gel shot appointment next Friday so I hope that will help her a bit.
My workout is also done: a little strength training, a short run on the 'mill, and a 5K on the rowing machine. I have a few things to do around the house but that will have to wait until after the snow ends so Dale can get Arya out from under foot for me. I forgot to mention my NSV from yesterday. With the frigid temps, I planned to wear one of my favorite sweaters that is too heavy for most winter days. I put it on and it's like a dress now, which makes me sad because it's so comfortable. But it will be the first item in the next bag to go to the thrift shop and I hope someone else will enjoy it as much as I have. It has to be 20 years old and there's probably no chance of finding a smaller one like it and I wouldn't even know where to start looking. But then it's not like don't have a closet full of other things to wear. Happy Weekend to All!

I have a too big chenille sweater I loveâŚI wear it at home. Can you do thatâŚ.with a sash?
By 77.5 you can believe repairs, remodels, âŚmight outlast you.
How does Arya do with cold?
two trips in this weather to the city! Poor Liz.
Chele, I have weird images of âelectric shovelâ in my imagination.
That job this morning was hard followed by washing all the dishes from stuff removed, taking out garbage three times, and another trip to store for fridge thermometer and more ice. So far it is not melting.
Gotta go make a salad and pick out Rao dinners for tonight.

Chele, I'm glad we don't have those carts. I wonder if it's specific to certain chains. The cold doesn't kill the iguanas, so they will be fine. I can't imagine walking under a tree and having one land on me though! They are an invasive species to FL and hopefully won't make it up this far north. Hope Iggy's back recovers soon. Are you going to warm up there along with me and Karen? I'm with Linda and conjure up funny images of an electric shovel.
Karen, I'm sure the Tennessee fans are having fun with the Saban memes! I remember some of the Stevil ones back in the days of Spurrier and Bowden. The poor little reptiles have invaded our state, but they will be fine. Those big carts sound extremely annoying and I'm glad we don't have them here. The people that park the regular carts in the middle of the aisle are annoying enough. Thanks for the update on Liz. I'm glad she didn't have to work in the city today and hope the gel shots help. Congrats on the NSV!
Linda, I went through that with my old fridge too. I managed to save some food, but threw a lot out. Hope all goes well with the delivery of the new one. I got mine at Best Buy and most of them were brand names I recognized. They are expensive!
