Good morning all,
It's a chilly Friday and we are expecting a bit of snow.
Update on the dog situation: Our neighbor confronted my DH today when he was out walking Daisy today. He yelled at him for calling the dog officer and said his dog only wanted to "play". Good grief. The whole time he was trying to blame our DH, his dog was snapping and growling at Daisy and he had a hard time controlling him- even today. He also was angry that my DH "yelled" at his 12 year old daughter. What was he supposed to do? Wait until the dog did serious damage? I don't understand people not taking responsibility for their animals and wanting to blame the victim. DH told him that he had no choice - the dog menacingly circling him growling and snapping. The neighbor asked why we didn't call him directly - he wasn't home- that's why - and it was not the first time this has happened. I believe we were completely in the right doing what we did - it's a shame people won't own up to their actions. Enough said - I would probably have been much angrier if he approached me like that and I'd let him have it. Ugh. DH is glad that he got the message from the dog officer. Hopefully, that is the end of it. I don't like not getting along with neighbors. Like I said, they are well known in the town and probably a bit entitled. Rules don't seem to apply to them. It was a matter of time before something really bad happened. But it is upsetting at any rate to have this outcome from them instead of an admission of poor judgment and a reassurance that they would fix it.
I hope everyone has a great Friday - TGIF - Sue, hope the return to school this week has been good and that the vertigo is gone. Pam, hope warmer weather is in your area now. My brother in Naples, FL said it's been a strange winter weatherwise. TTFN..
