Brrrrrrrrr.....It's in the teens here and very cold! But, we'll manage. I have already been out with Miss Daisy and she wastes no time taking care of business. She enjoys the cold and rolls around on the frozen ground.
Thank you both much for the encouraging words about the dog situation. Pam, you are so right. It could have been much worse if I'd been out there with a young grandchild and Daisy. I never understand what is wrong with people. No ownership of their actions. Hopefully, they are on notice and won't let it happen again.
Pam, how wonderful that the DDs gave you a massage. That's exactly what my DD did for me for Christmas - a beach massage in Costa Rica which was wonderful. I feel like I have lots of "knots" in my shoulders and neck area most of the time. Also, it's great that you are walking again. You'll be at goal soon.
Sue, have a wonderful day - any plans with your DH today? You two have so much fun and a good social life!
Today we are off on a short jaunt to a famous Pork Pie place that everyone raves about to pick up some pork pies. I have never been there but have heard so much about it, we decided to have an outing. We'll stop at BJs afterwards for a few things.
Have a great day - and stay warm.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday! We had a fabulous time at our little Italian eatery last night. Good food, great company and a welcome get-together.
My DBIL is still in the hospital, only now they've moved him to a different one. They are saying he has a "leaky valve" but they don't think he could survive the repair. However, they are trying another technique early this week. Since I hear everything third and fourth hand, I don't know what is really the case. We are planning to make a trip to Flint to see him this weekend. DH talked to him this morning and said he sounded in good spirits. We will certainly miss him at Sunday Brunch tomorrow.
Tonight we have our monthly Retrouvaille meeting with about a 45 minute drive to get there. Since the meeting is at 6, we need to eat supper beforehand. We decided on Famous Dave's BBQ who has a delicious BBQ salad that we both enjoy very much. We'll probably stop on the way for those. Even so, it will put us back home late. {{sigh}}
Tomorrow we will make the trip to Flint to visit with DBIL and then have Brunch along the way. That will pretty well fill up our weekend. We are still in the teens but at least the sun is shining.
Make a great day. BBL.

Hey again Sue,
So sorry about your DBIL. I know how much he means to you and your DH and those weekly brunches are very special. I hope they can help him with the treatment. You've certainly a run of family health issues lately including your own. Hope you are feeling MUCH better! Glad the Italian dinner was fun. I love the small family owned places best. I am not much on franchise restaurants when there is the option of a sweet homemade place. :-)
Speaking of that, we drove today to a Portugese area of Fall River to get some special meat pies that are well known We wound up buying three full sized pies and two small ones - pork pies are their originals so we got one of those, chicken pie and a chili pie which is all the rage there lately. It is a tiny place over 120 years old! Same location and in one family for past 50 plus years. We ate our small pies to try them and they were delicious. Afterwards, we stopped at BJs for a bunch of things on the list and headed home. Very chilly still and I walked Daisy a while ago before the dark set in.
We watched a cute movie on HULU channel with Ray Romano. Still Queens was the name I think. One of those comedy/drama types of films and very good with Rotten Tomatoes giving it 90 tomatoes. ( I always look!)
Have a great night and, Sue, good luck tomorrow visiting your DBIL. Sending along thoughts and prayers for his recovery. Good luck tonight at the Retrouvaille, too. Hope you enjoyed the ribs!
