Happy Sunday, Brenda - thanks. She looks terrible but the brain bleed is really scary. Have a great Sunday. Louis - another full dumpster, great work. Thank you for the prayers, I will pass them along to her.
Dear friends sister arrived today, we are hoping she can be released from the hospital tomorrow. Today was spent mostly on laundry and cleaning. Then I took a nice walk.

Good afternoon.
My oldest brother is here today going through the Life Magazines, newspapers etc so that we can fill in nooks she crannies in the dumpster. May be filled with rocks, but you can still add sand...
Realtor chat went okay yesterday. Nothing earth shattering.

Good morning. Greetings from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. The Advil I popped last night seems to have helped and I'm not in total pain from n overdoing it with my back yesterday. The dumpster is full. My nephew climbed in their twice and crushed things down to give us extra room to work with. The interesting finds were a 1970's vintage Jim Beam and three bottles of Bell's Reserve Scotch. The Scotch may actually be worth a couple hundred bucks a bottle! On my next trip up, I'll go to a secondary market seller and see what he'll give me for them. If it's not much, then I'll make them an offering to my liver instead The scary find was a jar of mercury that Dad just had on a shelf for reasons we'll never know. Took that to the hazmat dump on Saturday.

Happy Monday, Louis - good job super packing the dumpster. When we were little my mom showed us how to clean coins with mercury. I would definitely keep the scotch and bourbon.
Today I did body pump, walked to the store to get more items to make the third bathroom company ready, then had a lovely lunch with girlfriends.wonderful start to the week.

Good morning.
So now that the bathroom is ready for company, I suppose we should book our trips to Valencia. Just need to coax Virginia out of internet retirement so she can help plan the group trip.
In the meantime, we're looking at going to Garden Rose, TX (an hour south of Fort Worth) for a coming weekend. Lots of fossilized dinosaur tracks there. Not as artistic as Sagrada Familia, but cool in a different way.
The Beam bottle was from 1974. Since it was already open, I can report that it was quite tasty. The Bell's bottles are from the 1960's. Since they were 20-year scotches, that means they were probably distilled not long after the war!

Happy Tuesday, Louis - we are beginning a riverboat cruise , maybe from Amsterdam- Nuremberg for May 2015 if that interests you. I would love to taste those. Fossils are the coolest! That sounds great.
Today was beach walk day. One lady joined me halfway then I was on my own. It was a cool cloudy day.i love days like this. I collected sea glass and added river in the cactus garden.

Good morning.
That river cruise sounds like it could be fun. We're waiting to hear if my nephew is getting married this year like the rumor says. If he does, that'll send us to Poland for the wedding, so that would likely be our Europe trip for the year. If it happens, I'd like to add Germany to the mix.
Dentist appointment today, so if you hear any screaming, it's just me getting my teeth scraped two months late.

Happy Wednesday, Louis - we plan to visit Poland this summer 2024,when is the wedding? The river cruise will be 2025. The guest room is always available to you guys.
Today I did body pump, almost fished turtleneck number 2 and finished the ironing. I pulled out my old camera. I might take it to Norway. I had to go buy batteries. So I got a walk in.

Good morning.
That's the thing, Debbie. We don't know when the wedding is supposed to be. It's just family rumor. I think my nephew mentioned that a wedding was coming this year to his mom and now we wait on a date. One would hope that it'd be in late Summer/early Fall. They aren't the kind of couple that would do an extravagant wedding, so it's probably something that can be spun up in a few months.
I had to pay an electrician yesterday to tell me that the washing machine at my parents' house died, so it was an expensive day. I have a plumber coming today to do some odds and ends and quote a drainage issue in the master bath and I'm scheduling a painter to take down wallpaper and paint the main bath. Just watching money fly...

Louis - will you be able to get away last minute? It would be cool to meet up in Poland. All the dollars now will add to the sale price.

Good morning.
I'm glad your friend is on the mend, Debbie!
I'm hoping they give us a few months notice so we can actually plan a trip. With my luck, they'll look at October not realizing that all the Jewish holidays get packed in there like sardines.
Plumber was kind of a bust yesterday. Couldn't swap sink handles and the shower requires tag teaming with a tile guy. Still have the roof that needs inspecting for a leak and depapering and painting of the main bath.

Happy Friday, Louis - are you using a steamer to remove the wallpaper? The tradition of summer wedding season should work in your favor.
Today I did body pump, finished the white turtleneck, cut out the pink one, and went for a nice walk. The clouds have finally cleared and it is a beautiful day.
Happy weekend everyone.

Happy Sunday, I really miss everyone. Today I did body balance and the stretching challenge. This is the last week of the challenge. Dear friend that fell wanted to walk so I went walking with her. She found the area the fall occurred and we couldn’t find any reason for it. This weekend there is a bike race going on. The weather is very nice.
