Good morning.
I'll have to tell Cecilia about the clementine peel tea to see if she can add them to our shopping list, Debbie. The real answer is still less junk and moving more though, I figure.
We we to the BBQ place yesterday, but the line was out the door, so we left. Went to another BBQ place instead that wasn't particularly good. It had 4.7 stars on Google, and I can only assume that grade inflation was involved or that the folks doing reviews all were members of the varying sports teams they sponsored.
When's Norway again?

Happy Saint Vincent day, Louis- the cruise begins February 9. I think there are still cabins available. We did change our diet some, all restaurants were closed because of Covid so we ate only home cooking. I love oatmeal and it is an excellent cholesterol fighter. Everything cooked in olive oil. We need to return to that diet.
Today we had a handyman come and install the wall hanging I made. I love it. Ted is out walking and I’m goin soon.

Good morning.
Where does the cruise depart from?
Texas only sort of closed for a little while during Covid. Certainly not long enough to ingrain better habits anyway. I've never found oatmeal to be particularly satisfying as a breakfast for me. Those little breakfast pitas with egg white and turkey sausage seem to do well. And lunch is pretty stable with the salads and tuna.
It's dinner and snacking where adjustments will need to be made, along with structured exercise.
We are going to do a weekend at a retreat center in Johnson City for our anniversary weekend. One day off work instead of the two weeks the Israel trip was going to be.

Happy Tuesday, Louis - the cruise does a round trip from Bergen, Norway north along the coast almost to Russia border then return to Bergen.sometimes it is just a natural process for cholesterol levels to increase.
Today was a great beach day, 4 ladies, no wind or clouds and warm enough to not need a coat on the walk back home.

Good morning.
That sounds like a great day, Debbie. I managed to thread the needle between rain showers yesterday and made my step goal.
Doc's office called and they want to put me on a statin for the cholesterol and retest in a couple months. I really don't want to pick up another lifetime drug though.
The dumpster arrived in Louisville yesterday and I've got some packing to do tonight for my trip. It's not Norway, that's for sure.

Happy Wednesday, Louis - I just asked the doc to give me 6 months to lower the numbers through diet. That was 3 years ago and I still do not take drugs. Have a safe trip.
Today I did body pump. I am slowly returning to my pre sickness weights. Then cleaning, started ironing and the iron died. So I went out for a new one. The weather is so nice today. Ted and I just returned from a walk.

Good morning.
I'd like to manage it with diet if I can. I just need to accept that I'm a 50 y/o man that's no longer in peak physical shape and start making adjustments.
Nothing good comes from cleaning and ironing, Debbie. 😉
I'm sitting in the airline lounge waiting on my flight in a couple hours. No fancy schmancy first class upgrades today, so I'll be joining the peasants in coach.
Meeting a dealer in old records today to see if they'll make an offer on Dad's collection. There are probably 4,000 albums in that basement and I don't want to piecemeal it. Tomorrow I'm taking Dad's car to Carmax to see what the lowball number value is so I can figure out how to sell it. Saturday I'm meeting the realtor. And there's something Sunday that I can't remember that wasn't put into my calendar, so I'll wait for a phone call from someone saying "Weren't we supposed to do X now?"
Aside from that, the de-junkification will continue and my back will be in much pain come Monday.

Happy Thursday, Louis - I am probably the only person on the planet that likes ironing. It sounds like this will be a very successful trip.
Today I went to the street market for more material. I really like how the turtleneck turned out so I will make two more. I love Lidl peanut butter and had to go to two to find it. The weather is so nice today, I added more flowers to the terrace. My weight went down a little, I still have 4 pounds to goal. Brenda - Sky is so beautiful, happy birthday.

Good morning.
I made it to Louisville yesterday. Eventually.
I had my nephew meet the record dealer to go through things and they made a low offer which I'll accept.
Heading off to the bank and Carmax in a bit.

Happy Friday, Louis - sorry for the low bid. I’m sure that hurts. I hope the next stops are better.
Today I had to go back to the Vithas hospital to get my results because I didn’t know I needed a code to see them. The weather is so nice Ted and I walked to my dentist appointment, easy appointment to tighten the implant. Then to the downtown Vithas hospital to visit a friend. She fell outside on a sidewalk, the left side of her face looks like she was in a Rocky movie, her lip has 6 stitches. She is in the hospital because she had bad headaches for two days, returned to the hospital and they found a small bleed in her brain. Hopefully the tests will look good tomorrow and she will get to return home. She is my friend that lost her husband 12/22. I feel so bad for her. Just a rotten time. Her sister arrives next week.

Happy Saturday, Louis - I forgot to tell you something. A friend found out he is diabetic in 2020 , he controlled it with a strict diet and his cholesterol lowered to about 160 in 3 years. Ted was so jealous, he ate meat all the time but no sugar or carbohydrates.

Hi, folks. It definitely sounds like it's been a rough time for your friend, Debbie. Prayers she gets a clean bill of health! 🙏 We made great progress today. I disposed of the jar of mercury (!!) that my dad had in the basement at the hazmat disposal place this morning. And we filled another dumpster.

Debbie, sorry about your friend. A jazzercise instructor fell and she looked horrible. Her face was so bruised.
Lou, that’s great on another dumpster!
